In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Harpist Bryan Lee Kit Meng is an active and ardent orchestral player; in addition to being one of the founding members of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, he has played with the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Music Makers on their tour to Penang, the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Orchestra, with which he played with renowned tenor Jose Carreras, and with the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre Orchestra and Choir. He was also selected to be a member of the 2010 Youth Olympics Games Orchestra.

Kris has worked for various medical institutions both in the public and private sectors in the past.He is currently serving as the Medical Director and Chief Clinical Scientist of Osel Group of Clinics, Chief Clinical Scientist of Osel Diagnostics Sdn Bhd, Clinical Scientist with Auto Stem Laboratories, Clinical Scientist, Visiting Consultant and Research Associate with Niscell Laboratories, Visiting Research Associate with Hygieia Laboratories. In 2017, Dr. Kris was appointed as a faculty member of The Frontier Medicine Institute – advocating healthcare innovations and building bridges between education and healthcare, brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Dr. Kris is also the editor-in-chief for The Frontier Medical Journal, an open access peer reviewed journal.

Joey Kher is Head of Viana Academy of Art.Joey Kher studied at Central Academy of Art. She has worked in the prestige fashion companies and also awarded finalist in National Batik Competition Piala Seri Endon in 2009. Since 2016, Joey worked closely with Taiwan Cultural and Education sector as an adjunct Lecturer in Taiwan Tzuchi University of Science & Technology. She had been commissioned to do several crossover projects with local and international clients and hosted two Solo Art Exhibition from year 2015~2016.

Novia Shin Pui San

Shin Pui San (NOvia), a Malaysian with the backgound of Multimedia and Graphic Design, won the Champion of Nando’s Peri-fy Art Competition 2012. The following year seen her organizing her solo exhibition "Not So Long Ago" as a 25-year-old young artist, fully sponsored by Nando's. She has also been awarded the Grand prize of the Young Contemporaries 2016 Art Competition in 2017 organized by the National Visual Arts Gallery (Malaysia). She is passionate about experiencing local culture and cultural activities. She also cofounded Kaki Jelajah Warisan, which is a humanities and heritage tour organization, helping to illustrate cultural map. She has been working with various types of medium ranging from illustration, paper art, miniature art, comic, animation and also installation art. Although these media are each different from each other, they are all viable medium in documenting history.
