This year's TEDxUCIrvine is the founding TEDx event for the University of California, Irvine. All of our speakers are UCI affiliates - outstanding students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Our theme is "Under Construction Indefinitely," a popular reputation for our school which we intend to address and turn inspiring: our university is innovating always. Speakers include Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, biologist Francisco Ayala, President of Semester at Sea Les McCabe, Professors Thomas Eppel and Bill Cooper, student and founder of our world record dodgeball event Sam Shaw, spoken word artist Azad Right, and many more.
