Aviva Vincent
Aviva is a veterinary social worker and doctoral candidate in the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences where she researches the biological impact that animals have on children. Aviva is also the director of program quality at Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center, and founder and co-chair of the human-animal interactions work-group with National Association of Social Workers, Ohio chapter.
Dominic King
Dr. King is a Sports Medicine and Medical Orthopedic physician at the Cleveland Clinic, and a member of the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Center, the Cleveland Clinic Joint Preservation Center and a clinical professor for the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He serves as a featured physician for Buzzfeed News, The Greatist, Readers Digest, Men’s Journal, Dr. Oz’s The Good Life magazine, WKYC Channel 3 News, and ESPN.
Erin Lea
As a clinical health psychologist in infectious diseases and gastroenterology at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Erin Lea strives to empower individuals with diverse medical and psychological conditions to optimize their health and well-being. She is also a graduate of CWRU’s Department of Psychological Sciences where she holds an appointment as an adjunct assistant professor, teaching Adulthood and Aging and Psychological Assessment.
Gautham Chitturu
Gautham is an undergraduate student at CWRU studying neuroscience and business. Apart from being the Head of Speaker Coaching for TEDxCWRU, he is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, a certified member of CWRU EMS, and a founder of Spikeball Club.
Gloria Tavera
Gloria is a physician/scientist/activist supporting several health justice endeavors in the local Cleveland community and a current MD/PhD student at Case Western Reserve University. She conducted research in the neuropathology of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Mexico as a Fulbright Scholar. In 2017, she was recognized for her work with Universities Allied for Essential Medicines by Forbes 30 Under 30 Healthcare.
Mohammad Saim
Mohammad Saim is an emerging global leader. He is currently the global director of procurement engineering at Philips Healthcare. He is an electrical engineer by formal education, but his real passion is focused on helping students and professionals find purpose in their work and make an impact. His vast experience has taken him across the globe, where he has led teams in engineering projects, innovation, and product development.
Nichola Bomani
Nichola is an undergraduate student at CWRU studying biochemistry and Spanish as well as a Teaching Assistant in Sears think[box], a center for innovation and entrepreneurship at Case Western. She is a self-described computer with feelings - she has a knack for science and technology, but it the humanities that keep her going, living.
Riley Tedrow
Riley is a PhD candidate in biology from CWRU and a Medical Entomology Officer Candidate in the US Navy. He spent his undergraduate career chasing down praying mantises in Africa and Vietnam, cataloging various insects in harrowing environments. It was there that he discovered the Bush Tiger Praying Mantis, a new species of mantises. He is currently studying mosquito diversity and malaria transmission in Madagascar.
Steven Morris
Steven is an author, brand strategy consultant, and the CEO & Founder of Mth Degree consultancy. His clients include global organizations such as Samsung, Sony, LG, ESPN, NFL and MLB franchises, and Northwestern University. With the design to work with leaders who want to live and work more wholehearted, Steve is Co-Founder of The Studio, an organizational change-agent consultancy that works with the foundations of leadership artistry.
Vineet Erasala
Vineet is the Co-Founder and COO at Genetesis Inc., a company that commercializes the first of their kind biomagnetic imaging devices that detects and analyzes the body’s natural electromagnetic emissions. He enrolled at Case Western Reserve University and studied electrical and biomedical engineering for two years. After Genetesis received their first investment from Mark Cuban, Vineet left CWRU to pursue his company full time.
Xyla Foxlin
Xyla is the Founder and CEO of Parihug, a company focused on integrating emotions and technology to create a fuller digital experience. She is the Executive Director of the nonprofit she cofounded, Beauty and the Bolt, which is focused on lowering the barrier to entry for women and minorities in STEM fields. Xyla was named Cleveland Magazine's Most Interesting People of the Year 2017 and Crain's Cleveland Business 20 in their 20's.
