The 2018 theme is CHANGE AGENTS. According to Greek Philosopher Heraclitus, the one constant in life is change. Change as he believed it to be was the sheer acceptance that opposition forces are essential for living life. It is the clinging to what is known and considered to be safe that is the downfall of life, which is not growth. One cannot help but think there is nothing new in this great world, one or something can only make or become different, thus giving us change. The thought then goes to be an active principle that serves as a guiding intelligence that achieves a result or producing an effect. On what? That what can be as inventive and innovative as possible if mankind is represented to the fullest with maximum result to live an essential life. A change agent makes a difference in the status quo. They authenticate differences through problem solving, while creating new paradigms or models that will further advance who we are. It takes practice, examination, and ethical behavior. Are you a CHANGE AGENT?
