Hannah Cross

Mental Health Therapist

Hannah is also a hot yoga instructor and student of A Course in Miracles and botanical medicine. Her approach to her work is holistic, integrating Eastern and Western philosophies of wellness. The title of her work is: “Self-acceptance as the foundation for treatment of juvenile offenders” Aspects of the current juvenile justice system and beliefs held by society-at-large perpetuate lifelong incarceration for many youths that enter the system. Treatment of juvenile offenders with a focus on self-acceptance and mindfulness assist in moving towards the goal of reconnection with self and community. This approach must start with helping professionals healing their own self-perception in order to help juvenile offenders maneuver through a system ill-equipped to handle self-identity disease.

Jessica Greenberg

Professor at Weber State University

With more than 80 designs to her credit, her work includes lighting for off-Broadway venues such as 59E59, ART Theaters, and La Mama Experimental Theatre Club, Utah collaborators Salt Lake Acting Company and SB Dance, and academic guest designs at Amherst College, Smith College, and Yale University. Winner of the Design Arts Utah Juror’s Award in 2016. BA: Hampshire College, MFA: UMass Amherst. Member of USA 829.

Rebecca Virgo

Parent Educator at Prevent Child Abuse Utah

Currently, Rebecca is the program administrator of Parents as Teachers - the home visiting program offered through Prevent Child Abuse Utah in Weber County. She is a mother of six children and a first-generation college graduate with a dual major in English and Geography. While attending Weber State University, she received several awards recognizing her writing skills. Rebecca was the Editor-in-Chief of WSU's undergraduate interdisciplinary journal, Metaphor for two years running giving her opportunities grow as a public speaker. Rebecca and I serve together as co-chairs of the Prenatal to 3 subcommittees in the Ogden United Promise Neighborhood. She is passionate about improving the lives of the youngest members of our community by supporting their families and caregivers by meeting them where they are.

Tabatha Butler

Partnership Coordinator with United Way of Northern Utah

Tabatha is the Partnership Coordinator with United Way of Northern Utah. She works specifically with early childhood partnerships within the Ogden United Promise Neighborhood. She holds a Masters Degree in Applied Historical Research from Boise State University and has worked with a variety of non-profits and foundations strengthening relationships and bringing a fresh perspective. Currently, she co-chairs the Prenatal to 3 committees within the Ogden United Promise Neighborhood framework. She worked with Weber State University to create an Early Childhood Developmental Screening Day and is spearheading efforts to spread the word on Bright by Text, a free text line for caregivers in the state of Utah that will help parents build their child's brain.
