Labels are everywhere. They define the world we live in. But what do labels really mean? How can they be redefined? TEDxYouth@ASH will be examining this idea through a variety of lenses.

Ava is a 16 year old from Maryland who is now living in the Netherlands. Ava has always loved public speaking and debate and was very excited to participate in the Tedx at her school. Her passion for agriculture and her experiences on her farm in Maryland drove her to speak on this topic.

Ben is a 17 year old originally from Colorado. Since a very early age, Ben has been active and loves volunteering for NGOs, political campaigns, and advocating for voter rights. His hobbies include running, acting, and speech and debate.

Eda Saridogan

Eda is a 17-year-old from Turkey living in the Netherlands. She is a passionate and outspoken young woman who firmly believes in feminist ideals, and perpetuates them at every chance she gets. Eda is also an avid reader and aims to major in English language and literature; her future plans include using art or journalism as a medium to discuss social issues and to use her voice to make a change.

Fede is a 15 year old girl with a dream. Fede's dream is to be able to play college level soccer in the United States of America. Fede has been active and passionate about soccer for a longer time and tries to convince you to redefine what failure is to succeed like what she has to soon do.
