Boyana Zhelyazkova
Boyana Zhelyazkova is a Bulgarian violinist, singer and a songwriter in the styles of classical, world, ethno- jazz, soundtrack, ambient, baroque- pop music. She graduated at Sofia State Academy of Music and worked with various projects and artists like Joshua MacCluer, Sean Agus Nua, IYF Orchestra, Good Music Society, Borislav Slavov- Glorian, Matt Bowdler, Strezov, Jamie McDonald, EXo, Wet Pebbles, Sonas. In March 2018 Boyana released her first EP “Songs from the Soul” alongside with artists from Ireland, Russia and Bulgaria.

Kallina Brailsford

Kallina Brailsford is a PhD candidate in Photography at Nottingham Trent University, funded by AHRC/M3C DTP. She is a lecturer in photography at NBU and is founder of the organisation HumanCamera.org. She an artist who’s work focuses on the function of the photograph as well as it’s ability to communicate, affect and transform.

Kapka Kaneva works in the area of paper sculpture, illustration and book
design. She specialized in illustration and book design and defended her doctoral thesis on non-traditional book publications for children at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, where she is currently a senior assistant. Author of ‘The Game as a Book: The Children’s Book as a Spatial Object in the Context of Trends in the Development of Contemporary Book’ (Panorama Publishers, 2014). The second prize and certificate for illustration at the Biennale of Bulgarian Design II (2011); the National award and certificate for outstanding artistic achievement from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria (2014); the award from the Eight International Stage Poster Triennial, Sofia (2016) and the photo
illustration award from the International BookILL Fest Novo Miloshevo (2018) are among the honors and awards the artist has been given.

Kathleen Wood
Kathy is a hearing Professor at Gallaudet University with a PhD in linguistics and a focus on bilingualism and academic discourse. She have two Deaf daughters who are both students at Gallaudet right now, one majoring in Theater and the other may major in Public Policy or International studies.
