Diamonds are most precious substances on earth!

Diamonds start out as random different elements below earth. They go through different stages and various influences to finally reach its final mesmerizing form.
People are like diamonds too. We start out raw and as time goes by we develop, shape and mature until we reach our final form, what we always dream of; in other words, we shine.
But diamonds are not made instantaneously. We have to play our cards right. We have to hit and miss until we complete the Solitare and shine.

TEDxSuezCanalUniversity introduces our third event "Solitaire" to help create that shining human through ideas worth spreading. Each card we are going to present on our next event will take you a step further in the right order... to complete the Solitaire.

Economics and Business researcher

Doctor Abeer Rashdan is a Economics and Business researcher. With a Master's in the role of the World Bank in human development and a PHD in the macroeconomics policies in Egypt, Doctor Abeer is a Economics pro. In her talk, she will lead us into her insight regarding the difference between currency and money, and how confusing them can lead into making unwise investments which in turn slips us into many economical issues. Doctor Abeer will guide to understanding where value lies in order to always make smart economical choices.

Dr. Ahmed Gamal is an Assistant Lecturer of Economics in the Faculty of Commerce at Suez Canal University. He also has a Master of Science in Middle East economics as well as Economic Development.

Doaa Aladdin believes that every single individual we meet has hidden stories and feelings that can't be revealed, that's why she tries to deliver certain powerful emotions through her paintings. Doaa launched her hashtag #DoYouSpeakArt to convey that art is an unspoken expression that doesn't require learning because it is based on feelings. In a powerful talk, Doaa will speak about compassion through her art. Also, about how that everything has layers, some are visible, some aren't, that's why we need to peal the visible layers in order to really connect to each other.

Heba Mahrous

Architect and a Lecturer in Environmental Planning and Design.

Doctor Heba Mahrous is an Architect and a Lecturer in Environmental Planning and Design. She has got a PHD from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. She has published a book on Environmental Control. Currently, she is head of Quality Assurance Unit, Architecture Department, Modern Academy for Engineering and Technology, Maadi. In her talk, Doc Heba will speak to us on how to preserve our environment through practical and drastic instructions we can follow, especially in Architecture. She will enlighten us on how to make our homes green, how to invest in our green homes and what impact does that leave.

He is also initiated and Journalism"اكتب صح" a website that aims to facilitate the Arabic language. Hossam Moustafa will speak to us on how to improve our Arabic with modern creative ways and how to avoid fatal language mistakes.

Rafeeq plays several instruments including piano, guitar, drums and Oud. He won several competitions like: first place in music composition at the Creative Theater Festival in Suez Canal University. He composed the musical score for about 10 different theater productions.
