In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Atef Mohsen Mohamed Atef

"Atef Mohsen is 36 year architect, activist and entrepreneur. In 2005 he was graduated from the faculty of fine arts Cairo University. He is interested in helping people which gave him a great opportunity to practice leadership through being the representative and leader of his class for all five years in collage and became a part of the 10th International student Leadership Conference (ISLC) in the American University in Cairo (AUC) the theme he chose to work on was change. In summer 2004 he represented his country in an international workshop for architecture students that was held in Turin, Italy, it was organized by the Union of Mediterranean Architects (UMAR). In 2009 he had participated in the second International youth entrepreneurship congress in Istanbul, Turkey organized by the genç müsiad that opened his eyes toward the importance of entrepreneurship. In 2009 he had participated as a volunteer in the Psychosocial Support for the civilian victims of Gaza war with Arab Medical union. In 2011 he has initiated a fundraising campaign to help People of Somalia by the name '' youth for Somalia '' in cooperation with Arab Medical union - Relief Committee and Emergency – to those who are suffering from hanger and diseases. In 2011 he participated in the Egyptian revolution seeking for freedom and dignity for all Egyptians then he participated in the first political party that have been inaugurated after Egyptian revolution in 2011 and he was a member of the executive office of the central secretariat of the Youth in El-Wasat Party. For my voluntary work he had been chosen in 2012 to participate in MENA Leadership program organized by Japan Foundation in Tokyo under the theme “Leadership in Building community and nation”. from 2014 till now, he is working on a project that helps People with Disabilities, especially children with hearing impairment to overcome the leak of communication between them and their community so him and his team created a game called sign heroes that teaches sign language in Easy and Fun Way for that I was selected as a fellow in The Game Changer Fellowship by UNDP Egypt in 2015. In 2018 their Game ""Sign Heroes"" have been chosen as one of top 50 innovations in Africa and showcased in Africa innovation Summit (AIS) in Kigali ,Rwanda. Now I am running a family business in contracting and a co-founder in arkan architects. He believes in freedom and dignity for all humans, his mission is to use his skills in design to find innovative solution to help them and find entrepreneurship a great framework to achieve that goal."

Mohamed (Bondok) Abd El-Hamid Abd El-baset

Mohamed Abdel Hamid - or, 'Bondok' - is a lawyer at ElDib Advocates. He was born in Alexandria and has lived there his entire life. He is a proud Alexandrian and is passionate about the city, especially its culture and some of its more hidden features, which he believes are sometimes overlooked or undiscovered even by fellow Alexandrians. It is these features upon which he strongly wanted to shine a spotlight and tell people about in the hope that everyone comes to love Alexandria as much as he does.

Omar Adel Awaad Abd El-Hameed

Omar is a high school student with a passion for photography and a newfound love for astrophysics. The fire that ignited his interest in photography was the first camera he received at the humble of the age of 10. Being the explorer he is, he started working at Astrotrips, an astronomy initiative in Egypt, where he was enamoured of the magical view of stars. Omar is interested in understanding art through capturing this distant world's beauty.
