We tend to believe our way is the "right" way or the "only" way. When we think this way we miss the opportunity to learn from each other, grow as individuals and communities, and we fail to see the value in things we are unfamiliar with.
TEDx Meridian is proud to host its' first event in a town we all consider home. Whether it's memories of the penny candy stores or remembering the hustle bustle of the trains the older generations enjoy thinking back on the "good ole days". Younger generations are seeking to be heard and understood in a more technology-driven world.
How do we mesh and meet in the middle to celebrate the past and present?
Times have changed and with change comes greater responsibility to not only be heard but to listen as well.
