Engineering
Aditya Mehrotra is a graduating senior at East Brunswick High School, committed to using engineering to build a better world. He has attended two World Maker Faires displaying many of his engineering projects and educating others on the lessons engineering can teach. He is most well known for Project ORRCA, a project he founded in 2010 to design and implement a robot that could clean water pollution. His message to all aspiring engineers and innovators is “if you have an idea, just go for it, and never let anything get in your way.”
Audrey Domond

Ms. Domond is a popular EB English teacher and passionately instills a love of literature and readingin her students. Aside from her teaching duties over the past 20 years, Ms. Domond generously gives her free time to get involved in many EBHS events. She is advisor of Student Council and A2J clubs and generously chaperones and organizes other events. She tirelessly works to build relationships with the community and organizes the annual Toy Drive and Senior Citizens’ Prom. Her many activities and her warm and welcoming personality embellished with her cool Jamaican accent and spirit has made her a favorite personality in the halls of EBHS.
Dianna Eastep
Teacher
Mrs. Dianna Eastep holds two degrees from Rutgers University, a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree in Education Administration. She also holds a second Masters of Arts in Physics Education from the University of Virginia. She started her teaching career at East Brunswick High school, was immediately hired, and has been here ever since. Throughout her teaching career, Mrs. Eastep has taught multiple levels of Physics, Chemistry, and Astronomy and has been involved in the writing of curriculum for many courses in the East Brunswick Science department.
Edganis Torres Sierra

Egdanis Torres Sierra is a popular Spanish teacher at the East Brunswick Public Schools since 2000. Her students were excited when she returned to the classroom from her military deployment in Kabul, Afghanistan in early 2018. LT Torres is presently attached to NR NAVINFO DET, Commander, 7th Fleet as a Public Affairs Officer. She is currently pursuing an Executive Masters of Science degree in International Affairs with a specialization in Post-Conflict Resolution from Seton Hall University. Egdanis Torres Sierra already holds a Masters of Arts degree in Communication Studies.
Elizabeth Jackson

Elizabeth Jackson is a senior at East Brunswick High school and an environmentalist dedicated to harnessing the power of words and scientific advancement to combat current and future environmental crises. She serves on the East Brunswick Environmental Commission as a Student Liaison and in that role is involved in helping to develop sustainable town policy recommendations. Upon Elizabeth’s proposal, East Brunswick became part of the Mayor’s National Climate Action Agenda—a group of municipalities committed to upholding the 2015 Paris Climate Accords to compensate for the national government’s withdrawal from the Accords. Elizabeth hopes that such an initiative will demonstrate the power of concerned, informed individuals and small groups to make a difference, even when confronted with a problem as momentous as climate change.

Gabby FrostGuest SpeakerGabby Frost, 20, is the founder and CEO of Buddy Project, a non-profit organization aiming to prevent suicide and raise awareness for mental health. When she was 15-years-old, she discovered that many of her friends from school and online were dealing with mental illness. Gabby thought that by pairing people with a friend online, it could prevent suicide and give people a peer support system. Gabby is a sophomore at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is majoring in Music Industry with a concentration in Business.

JohnMark is a junior at East Brunswick High School with a passionate love for the performing arts. While heavily involved with multiple musical ensembles and the drama club, he is also an activist and trailblazer at heart. Taking inspiration from the various advocates in both history and the present, he wishes to combine his love for the arts with his activist ambition to make a change in the world through his talk and all his future creative and artistic work.

Mukesh Patel
Rutgers Professor
Mukesh Patel is responsible for overseeing the Innovation Lab at the Honors College. Of the 100+ social innovation ideas created annually by first-year Honors College students in their mission course, the Forum, approximately six advance in the students' sophomore year to become the focus for hands-on development in the Innovation Lab under his mentorship. He is the founder and CEO of JuiceTank, a New Jersey-based business incubator and co-working space, co-founder of NextBridge, a private equity firm, and an entrepreneurial attorney. A Rutgers alum and an adjunct professor at the Rutgers Business School and Law School, he has helped many startup companies develop their business plans and raise significant equity funding.
