The boundaries of human threshold are a marvellous study, each challenge forces us to debate our own assumptions about our endurance. For how long can we stand the misconstrued shackles of our own society? What strength of understanding would it take to put a stop to the wrong and sieve it from the grey? When will we open our minds to the newer and braver dawn of civilisation? In this era of modern advances, we have to break the taboo that surrounds matters in order to broaden our perspective.

The word Period, boasts thoughtful roles like a characteristic and meaningful interval of time, the end to a sentence or the declaration of the end of an individual's statement. Yet it is often associated with menstruation and induces uncomfortable thoughts. Our motive is to normalise this natural phenomena.

A semicolon in grammar is used to signify that the author could've stopped the sentence but chose to continue instead. Despite, all the boundaries in the society, people choose not to stop and continue their fight for change.

Together the two elements form the centric theme, Period; signifies an endless battle against taboos in society.

We at TEDxCMRIT wish to break stereotypes and to bring something new to our audience. With a word so eloquent, we hope to make an impact that will last beyond the event.Because life always has something good in store for us.
