TEDxIIITBangalore is an independently organised event that aims to help people interact and share their knowledge and ideas and inspire others. We envisage that our event consisting of live talks, interaction and workshops, shall bring about a new ideology and perception to many.

Our purpose is to bring people from various walks of life to share their experiences, stories and vision. We passionately believe in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and therefore, the world.

Ajeet Khurana

Blockchain Expert

Ajeet Khurana heads the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Committee of India, the highest industry body for companies in this space. In this role, he works on industry advocacy, policy framework, consumer education and protection. Before this, he wore many hats: book author, angel investor, mentor, TEDx speaker, steering committee member of the NASSCOM Start-Up Warehouse, ex-advisor to Kalaari Capital, and former CEO of IIT Bombay’s business incubator, among others. He was entrepreneurial twice in the field of education and web publishing.

Chirag Gandhi

Risk Analyst

Chirag is a Private Equity Risk Analyst at Credit Suisse. This IIT Bombay graduate was a former intern at Deutsche Bank and has represented India at the Asia Pacific Future Leader Conference 2017. He has worked for a social cause through a project of reducing school dropout rates in Bihar to assist an MP and is currently performing budgetary analysis for the office of a parliamentarian.

Jhansi Munukoti

Artist

Jhansi is an artist by heart, an engineer by skills and a business graduate by education. She has held 10+ international art shows across USA, UK, and Asia and holds a place in Limca Book Of Records for making India's largest maze art. She runs an art initiative named KalaPrayas and is also 1 among 6 delegate keynote speakers chosen from all over the world at Harvard Asia Conference, Sydney. Jhansi strongly believes in democratizing creativity and is currently experimenting to launch "smart art".

Fashion Designer, Columnist and Model

Oyindrila Ray Ghosh is Celebrity and Fashion Stylist, Designer, Model, Columnist, TV Host chasing her passion and living an adventure. She has styled Bollywood actresses, Miss Indias and advertorial campaigns for brands. She chased an off beat career in the creative world of fashion, working with India’s leading brands as a Stylist, Lingerie Designer and Design Consultant. She is an authority on all things fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle and is a frequently featured Columnist in national dailies giving insight into the fashion & lifestyle business and trends.

Saurabh Uboweja

Saurabh Uboweja is an International Brand Expert and Founder CEO of Brands of Desire, an integrated brand & marketing consultancy. A postgraduate from IIM Calcutta, he is on a mission to transform thousands of Indian businesses into creators and owners of valuable brands that can compete with the world’s best. He is the top-rated Visiting Professor for the Strategic Brand Management Course he delivers at leading b-schools. He co-founded Credihealth.com and is a founding member of the World Communication Forum Association, Davos. Saurabh created The Branding Circle, a Facebook community of international experts in Branding and Marketing.

Cyber Forensics Specialist

Sebastian is a Director with Forensic team of Deloitte in India. He is an AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and a Master Trainer from INTERPOL on Technology Crime investigations. He has over 17 years of professional experience in the fields of Fraud investigations & Fraud control with nearly 10 years in the investigating ranks of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and 2 years as GM and Regional head for Ethics & Intelligence of GMR group. He has led over a number of investigations involving bribery & Corruption. He set up the first Digital Forensic and Technology labs for the CBI, GMR Group and Deloitte in India and was instrumental in identifying and extracting relevant evidences in many high profile cases.

Sudhanshu Kaushik

CEO, founder of Young India Foundation

Sudhanshu Kaushik currently leads Young India Foundation which engages in more youth representation in policy and politics in India. He is a student at the University of Oxford researching how election campaigns affect India’s rural economy. Sudhanshu has previously worked with the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations and CNN. He hopes to vocalise youth concerns and fight for youth rights.
