Amani Alphonce Shayo is an aspiring consultant and Human Capital enthusiast currently pursuing his masters degree in project planning and management at the University of Dar Es Salaam. He serves as a national director of AIESEC in Tanzania, an organisation that seeks to empower youth through leadership by providing practical learning experience and cross- cultural exchange experience. With his team, they create opportunity for Tanzanian youth to voluntarily and take professional internship abroad.
Amani Shayo strongly believes that future of Africa rests on the untapped potential of young people and if it is well understood and provided with right support tools, then it will play a huge role in transforming businesses and organisation. Amani is passionate about youth leadership, education and cross-cultural dialogue.
Augustine Rutasingwa

Augustine is a writer and founder of the Africa Skateboarding Magazine. An online magazine that tells the story of African skateboarders and other extreme athletes. He is well respected skateboarding activist born in Tanzania. He has worked with several Organizations including the World Skateboarding Federation. In 2015 and 2017 he actively organized the African Street Skateboarding Championships under the World Skateboarding Federation.
Cretus Joseph
Zero hunger Activist & Co-Founder, Aqua-Farms Organisation
Mr. Cretus is a Founder and General Secretary of Aqua-Farms Organization that supports conservation of aquatic ecosystems and promote sustainable, environmental friendly fish farming within mainland Tanzania.
He concentrated his efforts in research, projects and provision of education on sustainable fisheries and aquaculture. In his three years of studies, work and involvement in different researches, Mr. Cretus
realized that the amount of protein needed to make population healthier in Tanzania, Sub-Saharan Africa and the whole World is huge. After realizing that fish is easiest and has nutritive advantages when compared to other animal protein, he decided to devote his life and knowledge in promoting environmental friendly aquaculture and sustainable fisheries as an attempt to feed Tanzanians and Africa.
Denice Simeo
Denice has been involved with Restless Development since 2013, when he joined as a volunteer Young Leader in our Kijana Tunene project. He then went on to volunteer for two other projects, until he became employed as an Assistant Project Coordinator in 2015 for our International Citizen Service (ICS) Programme, and then for our Kijana Wajibika project in 2017. Throughout his time with Restless Development Denice has run programmes empowering young people across Dodoma, Simiyu and Lindi. In 2015 Denice was recognised for his hard work and awarded a place as an International Restless Development Values Champion.
Throughout his work with Restless Development Denice has facilitated trainings to thousands of young people across Tanzania, as well as giving various motivational speeches to young people at community and national events. Denice is passionate about tackling the problem of youth unemployment in Tanzania and how the volunteering spirit can be the part of solution. As well as the importance of engaging learning institutions, decision makers, employers and youth themselves in tackling the problem

Rhetoric Organization (TCRO), an NGO that promotes critical thinking through debate and public speaking. She is herself an accomplished debater and public speaking enthusiast who actively competes
in different international tournaments. She won 1st place in debate and public speaking at the 2017 Southern Highlands Universities Speaking Championship, was a semifinalist debater at the 2017 East
African Universities Debate Championships in Kigali, Rwanda, finalist debater at the 2017 Zanzibar Open Debate Championships and at the 10th Pan African Universities Debate Championships in Buea,
Cameroon, she broke first in the preliminary rounds of the competition the public speaking category,and was a semifinalist in the debate category. Dorice is passionate about building the ability of young Tanzanian’s and Africans alike to articulate themselves and their ideas.

The character that is based on himself is super talented, writes inspirational books, creates learning games and takes kids on multi learning journeys.
Lulu Tunu Kaaya
Lecturer and Researcher (Limnology/Freshwater Ecology)
Dr Lulu Kaaya is a lecturer in lake and river ecology within Department of Aquatic Sciences and
Fisheries Technology at the University of Dar es Salaam. She also conducts research on impacts of
climate change on aquatic ecosystems, aquatic macroinvertebrates in the Tanzanian basins and in
developing related databases, river health assessments and worked on classification systems and
monitoring protocols for Tanzanian rivers and ecohydrology as a novel approach for management
and restoration of degraded aquatic ecosystems.
Dr Kaaya is also the Director of Internationalization, Convocation and Advancement at the University
of Dar es Salaam. She is also a wife and a mother of three kids. She is a Rotarian and practice Service
above Self. She loves nature, enjoys gardening, swimming and jogging. She is passionate about
mentoring youth and assisting them crossing the bridge towards achieving their dreams.
Media and Communication Expert , Poet & Human Rights Activist
Ms. Mariagoreth Charles is a Media and Communications Specialist, a poet, spoken word performer and a human rights activist. As a poet, her first appearance was at the 2016 Museum of Recycled Jeans Exposition at the Alliance Français, Dar es Salaam where her paintings graced 25 masterpieces by Dominiki Godfrey. Mariagoreth is best known for her stage performances and her poem Dear future daughter. Mariagoreth has graced platforms including the famous Marahaba Music Festival 2017, La Poetista, Poetry255, and Girls Just Wanna Have Fundamental Rights - Women’s Day 2017.

In 2014 as a university student, she discovered that she is HIV positive, after a long period battling with the situation, she finally decided to accept and start her own reality show that conveys her life and discovery journey as a victim in order to encourage and give hope to all people who are living with HIV/AIDS
Youth Activists from Restless Development
Both Denice and Farida work under groundbreaking Kijana Wajibika (Youth be Responsible) project. This project uses a youth-led, data-driven accountability approach to equip youth with civic knowledge and data collection skills in order to enable them to demand information, collect data, and participate in networks as active citizens. Kijana Wajibika ensures that young people take the lead through all stages of the programme, from data collection to analysis and formulation of policy recommendations, to presenting and influencing their decision makers and holding them to account for the commitments made.
Vivian Ngowi
These two individuals have been selected as a result of their strong background in Youth work, and their previous presentation experience. Denice and Vivian can present our talk together, or we can select one of the two to do the presentation as an individual.
