In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Kaiser Tufail

Air Commodore Kaiser Tufail is a retired fighter pilot of the Pakistan Air Force and has been awarded the prestigious awards of Tamgha-e-Imitiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz. He served as the Director of Operations of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) during the Kargil conflict. He served as Deputy Commandant and Commandant of the PAF Air War College. Amongst his various achievements he is the author of two books on Pak India Conflicts. He lives his retired life to the fullest actively pursuing life passions of writing, cycling, scuba diving and astronomy. He recently cycled from Abbottabad to Kashgar (China) via Silk Route and also delivers lectures at Lahore Astronomical Society.

Raja Zia Ul Haq

An ex theater actor and active enthusiast , a philosophy lover and much more – who currently works for youth empowerment through knowledge and wisdom and gives mental training to adults and young adults on topics like Life hacks , how to cope with stress etc. President/CEO of Youth Club, Raja Zia ul Haq is a prominent motivational speaker and a life coach.

Saad Shahid

Saad Shahid is co-founder of Nine lines, a fun enthusiast with high grip on leadership and entrepreneurial skills. He is currently pursuing his PhD from USA and teaches at Lahore School of Economics.

Selina Rashid

Selina Rashid is the Chief Executive of Lotus Client Management & Public Relations Pakistan’s first dedicated lifestyle PR company and a cofounder and director at The One Lotus Agency Pakistan’s premier talent management agency. She had her schooling at LACAS after which she studied Politics at the University of Warwick in England with a distinction from the university. Following graduation, she worked at Avalon Public Relations, a comedy and television based PR Company in London for several years before she shifted back to Pakistan in March 2007. In September 2007 she set up Lotus Client Management & Public Relations, Pakistan’s first every PR Company dedicated to art, culture, lifestyle and entertainment. This is the company’s landmark 10th year. In 2016 she co-founded the One Lotus Agency with her husband Rizwan R Khan. At The One Lotus Agency, she focuses on strategic planning and image positioning for talent. Her firm currently represents iconic personalities and brands including Ali Zafar, Sharmeen Obaid CSelina Rhinoy, HSY, L’Oreal Pakistan, Magnum t al and Lotus also represented the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan’s visit to Pakistan in late 2017. Selina has also worked on 8 seasons of Coke Studio. She is the first Pakistani recipient of the prestigious PR News top women in PR global award and the first to have Pakistan recognized on the international public relations map.

A teacher of leadership and CEO of the School of Leadership, Karachi. Mr. Umair is a trained professional in impacting lives. Umair Jaliawala is a trainer by passion, an entrepreneur by profession and a social worker by persistence. Having worked with over 103,000 corporates, youth, teachers, social workers, Umair has had opportunities to influence topline professionals to individuals in far-fetched villages, marginalized communities, people with disabilities and relief camps.
