In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She is currently a senior student at the Agribusiness Teaching Centre (ATC). She is strongly interested in wine production in Armenia. Her vision is to make Armeniam wine spread all over the world. For that purpose she has decided to master herself in the field of Marketing. She is the former PR specialist at the Volterman Smart Wollet, which is a Armenian Start up innovative project, that won $1,000,000 within 45 days during my work. After that she has worked for the another Armenian start up, Moon by 1-Ring as a cross promo specialist. After being a little bit experinced in marketing field for the purpose of understanting both the local and internatiinal market she started her job at the ICARE foundation as a research assistant. All in all, now she thinks that she need a new expertise to make Armenian wine well known to everyone, and therefor she is going to do my master degree in the USA, California which is the heart of wine production in the USA.

Gegham Ohanyan

Founder and director of << Kharuyk >> hiking and environmental activist group

Gegham is a environment lover and activist involved in different environmental campaigns. Gegham Ohanyan is National University of Architecture and Construction of Armeniagraduate. He is founder and director of "Kharuyk" hiking and environmental activist group. The environmental actions organized by "Kharuyk" aim to bring nature and cultural assets into focus of public attention, to show ways to be part of nature loving activities and spread knowledge about ancient Armenian culture. They initiate different environmental activities approaching possible solutions for certain environmental issues including annually organized clean ups. Gegham loves hiking as he thinks reaching the top of the mountain is a win over himself, which is required and is the only way to succeed.

Mariam Mardanyan

Mariam Mardanyan is 3rd year student at the faculty of Agronomy in Armenian National Agrarian University. She was born in Gandzakar, one of the most beautiful areas in Armenia. As she loves to mention ”Love to the environment always associates with wonderful nature of Gandzakar. I think that’s where I get my inspiration and the power to move forward and to meet my goals ”. She studies at EVN wine academy since that’s a great way to meet her interest in winemaking and wine production in Armenia. Among other activities she has participated into different social activities as she think youth has the power to do change in our life and our future. She is a big dreamer and fulfilled in her ideas.

Sofia is a psychologist, art-therapist, inclusive education specialists. Sofia Hovsepyan has been working in the field of inclusive education since 2006 with Bridge of Hope NGO from 2007-2009 and Yerevan school N20 named after John Kirakosyan since 2007. “Involving inclusive education in educational sphere was one of the most important steps in Armenian educational system as society needs to be educated not only by knowledge touching bases of different spheres but also with very important values’’ Sofia says. Progress of learning process with kids is first of all discovery about herself as human and as a teacher. She is trying to put all her efforts into building inclusive society and spreading nationwide. She thinks change of value system and awakening steps will help to develop better country and better future for Armenia and Armenians.
