Mayar Emad El-Din
Mayar is a certified English language university instructor at MIU-Misr International University. She currently pursues her master's degree in literature at Ain Shams University.
Mayar is very passionate about volunteering and has been an active member in numerous NGOs and student activities for 6 years. She also writes articles in various websites and spent 3 years giving sessions through student activities about psychology, creative writing and soft skills.
Mennatullah El-Serafy
د. منة حصلت علي الماجيستير في مجال البيولوجيا الخلوية الجزيئية من جامعة هايدلبرج في ألمانيا سنة 2012, وحصلت علي زمالة الدكتوراة من مؤسسة الأبحاث الألمانية. د. منة حالياً بتجهز بحث ما بعد الدكتوراه في معمل الدكتور شريف الخميسي في مركز علم الجينوم في مدينة زويل.
د. منة عندها شغف كبير جداً للتدريس, و بتحب تشرف على طلبة الماجيستير و الدكتوراه في المختبر و كمان بتدرس لطلبة مدينة زويل. هدفها في الحياة انها تتعلم و تتطور عشان تقدر تسيب بصمة على المجتمع و تنقل خبراتها لمصر و العالم العربي.
Dr Menna Elserafy is our next speaker at #Metanoia!
Dr. Menattallah Elserafy received her master’s degree in the field of Molecular Cellular Biology at Heidelberg University, Germany in 2012 and obtained a PhD fellowship from the German research foundation. She's currently a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Prof. Sherif El-Khamisy at the Center for Genomics in Zewail City.
Dr. Elserafy is also very passionate about teaching students. She enjoys supervising bachelor and PhD students in the lab, she also contributes to teaching the undergraduates at Zewail City. Her goal in life is to learn, develop and leave a significant impact on the society while also transferring the knowledge she gained abroad to both Egypt and the Arab world.
Mohamed Ayman
Mohamed Ayman is a 20-year-old Engineering student at Nile University who’s done a lot more than you can guess on a first impression.
From the several travels to the United States, Indonesia and Tunisia, you’d think he’s just your typical traveler, but there’s one great plot twist; Mohamed won the First Place in the Arab World Intel Science and Engineering competition when he was just in high school and was the first Egyptian to ever get this award. Not only that, but he also got the Bronze Medal of the Olympiads of Science and Engineering in America.
Mona Magdy
Dr. Mona Magdy, an associate professor at the faculty of mass communication Cairo University, has been teaching public opinion, methods of Communication research along with other subjects related to communication.
She is very innovative when it comes to her teaching methods. As a facilitator, her relationship with her students is one that is interdependent. She creates an environment for students where they can always feel engaged and indulged in the ongoing discussions, prompting them towards self-discovery rather than just lecturing facts. She taught in Germany for several years, made a partnership with several NGOs to offer internships to students at the faculty.
Rahma Khaled
Rahma Khaled is a 22 year old Egyptian Special Olympics champion with over 150 medals locally and internationally. She was born with Down syndrome. With her hard work, persistence and assistance of her mother, Amal Otayfa, a speech therapist, she was able to improve her mental and speech skills. She became the first TV anchor with Down syndrome in Egypt. With all her accomplishments, Rahma was voted the most influential woman in 2015, the youngest to receive the title among Egyptian women.
