Ankur Warikoo is Cofounder & CEO of nearbuy.com – India’s No.1 Discovery and Transaction Platform for Stepping Out.
Prior to nearbuy.com, Warikoo was Head of Groupon’s India, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines business. In 2008 he cofounded Accentium Web along with 2 other batch-mates from ISB that ran websites such as Gaadi.com, Secondshaadi.com, Taaza.com amongst others. Thereafter, Ankur launched Rocket Internet’s India business and helped setup the footprint for Jabong and Groupon.
Ankur holds a management degree from the Indian School of Business (Class of 2006) where he was awarded the Young Leader Award. He also holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Michigan State University and holds a bachelor’s degree from Hindu College, Delhi University.
Ankur was part of Fortune Magazine’s 40 under 40 List for India, has been named as India’s Top Executives under 40 by Business Today and has been awarded the Social Media Entrepreneur of the Year by Silicon Review.

Nipun Malhotra, an alumnus of St. Stephen’s , DSE and the ISB, was born with Arthrogryposis, a rare congenital disorder.
He is the co-founder and CEO of the Nipman Foundation that helps Persons with Disabilities and believes in equal opportunities to all. Mr. Malhotra is the brand ambassador of Umoja Travels and also on the board of Directors at Vishwas, an NGO working on disability and development. Since August 2016, he is a part of NITI Aayog's experts panel. He is also the ED of Nipman Fastener Industries. He is the reason behind - wheelchair access filters in restaurant listings on Zomato and the wheelchair availability at the recent NH7 and the Jaipur Lit Fest. He also lobbied with the Delhi Government to get the Disabled exempted from the Odd-Even car rule.
He is the founder of ‘Wheels for Life’ - a crowdsourcing platform, connecting those who need wheelchairs to donors, who can financially contribute for them.
Niranjan Mukundan
Indian swimmer
Niranjan Mukundan is a man who knows a lot about overcoming all odds to achieve his dreams. Born with a condition called Spina Bifida, a physical deformity that involves the incomplete development of the spinal cord, and clubbed feet, he has always been against the practice of making people with disabilities believe that they will lead incomplete lives.
Niranjan has already secured various wins and achieved several accolades in his short career as a para-swimmer so far. Having bagged several medals at the national and international level has helped him reach a rank of World no. 17. In 2014, at the IWAS world junior games in Stoke, Mandeville, U.K. Niranjan bagged a whopping eight medals including three gold, two silver and three bronze.
He is a bright prospect for Tokyo 2020!
In 2017, Niranjan won 5 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal at the Para Nationals in Jaipur.
Padmavati Rao

Padmavati Rao is better known for her roles in Kannada films like Geeta directed by Shankar Nag. She also worked on the famous television serial Malgudi Days directed by Shankar Nag. She began her career at the age of 15 when she did her first film Ondanondu Kaladalli, directed by Girish Karnad and also delved in theatre. She has done theatre across a period of four decades in Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada and English. She continues to do both film and theatre. She did many a television serial in Hindi through the eighties and nineties before she acted in Pardes, directed by Subhash Ghai. Her recent film release was a film called TE3N (Read as TEEN) in which she was cast opposite Amitabh Bachchan. Her latest release is Padmaavat directed by Sanjay leela Bhansali in which she plays an important role. On the literary side, Padmavati has translated to Hindi four of Girish Karnad’s plays , three of which are out in print; Bikhre Bimb, Pushp, Shaadi Ka Album.
