Theme: Inside and Outside Culture

Our next TEDxPlanoSalon will explore “Inside and Outside Culture.” Families face challenges of balancing internal (inside the home) cultural norms and values with external (outside the home) cultural norms and values. While each family has its own unique set of norms, values and priorities, the challenges the share are universal across cultural backgrounds. Our Salon will explore these similarities and strategies for raising children prepared to survive and thrive outside the home.
