Aftab Khan is extremely passionate about leading a positive change in the global education system. He has been trained by NASA & Columbia University on Leadership in STEM education. He started his career with Procter & Gamble, led the marketing team at Johnson & Johnson Middle East, served as VP Marketing in transportation and software industries and was the head of SZABIST university in Dubai. Pursuing his passion to inspire children to become problem solvers, his venture Robokids, is a first of its kind inspiration hub that provides a genuine fun learning environment. It aims at providing children with the opportunity, tools and guidance to help expedite their learning, especially in STEM related fields, and give them a platform to express their talent and creativity.
His current portfolio of businesses also includes IT Professional Education services for college students and professionals, marketing of IT Services and Creative Content Development for clients globally.
Ainee Nasir Jamy

Ainee Nasir Jamy is an educationist with 20 years of experience in the US, UK and Pakistan. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, as well as teaching certification from the US. She has worked at senior positions in elite private schools and at an educational NGO. She runs her own research and consultancy firm, The D.A.T.A. Group.
Ainee is founder and Chairperson of Sunbeams, an NGO that delivers high-quality education to low-income children. Sunbeams School System currently operates 9 branches, educates 1300 children and trains 100 teachers in the villages of Pakistan. It offers a financially sustainable model of quality education for all.
Huda Hashmi

Huda Hashmi, a student of MS Education in Lahore College for Women University, being an introvert has always found refuge in reading, writing, painting and music. Huda Hashmi is a dreamer. She dreamt to be a singer. Music became her utmost passion and granted her the freedom and contentment that nothing else could. She went against constrictions and took her passion to a higher level, regardless of the fact that she had no family background in the music industry. But success is not a magical land on the end of a rainbow, she ACTed against all odds to pave her path to success. She has transformed her dream into reality by being part of musical season ‘Alhamra Unplugged’.
Mohammad Javed
Curator at Lahore Fort
Javed is a Curator at Lahore Fort. A a Senior Tourism Officer at the Walled City of Lahore, he has been a tour guide for the last 25 years. Now he also trains Tourist Guides, writes articles on tourism (Sayyaht Nama) and conducts tours all across Pakistan.
As a young kid, he used to see foreigners and the elite emerging out of big cars, speaking a language that was foreign to his ears. As he grew slightly older, he came to know this language as English which he thought was a gateway to big cars and high life. In college, he became passionate about learning this language and today he is at a position where he can speak 7 different languages. He’s always had a multifarious personality and became an informal guide while he was still an undergraduate. Later on, in 1996 he got a proper license and started working as a private guide at the Lahore Fort. The job that he does is not that of a tour guide
Student/ Motivational Speaker
Moiz Shaukat has set an unprecedented example of knack and dedication. He is an A’ Level ‘s student and one of the Pakistan’s youngest writers and motivational speaker. He has won countless awards at national level. He is a clear manifestation of the phrase “age is not a barrier”.
He runs his NGO that goes by the name "Dream Builders" and it aims to promote peace education and counter violent extremism. Meanwhile, it intends to foster the concept of amity in Pakistani society. With a joint effort of students from various universities and colleges, “Dream Builders” embarks on the journey towards regeneration of hope that was lost in the pandemonium of war against terrorism. Moiz and his team are working on spreading a message of peace around the country and paving way for a new beginning for hope to settle in.

Musa Aamir is the co-founder of Rizq, a social enterprise aiming to combat hunger by making feeding convenient and food waste minimal. With the aim to revolutionize the food philanthropy market in Pakistan, this young entrepreneur after his graduation has forgone the traditional path towards a corporate career and instead adopted to create a social business to help people at the bottom of the pyramid.
Hopping from slum to slum, from one under-privileged community to another, he aims to invite more people on this journey of helping others and break barriers erected by class, social status etc for a more compassionate society.
Mussarat Mashhadi

Mussarat Mashhadi is currently working in a private school in Lahore, as vice principal. Her responsibilities include looking after academic implementation as well as monitoring behaviour and conduct of her students. Along with this, she is responsible for teacher training and professional development of her staff. Her passion, however, is on cultivating and fostering, in teachers, a love for exploring newer and innovative ways to make their lessons filled with fun and challenge.
Her professional journey commenced in 1996 as a middle school & O’ Level English language teacher. She completed her ELT master’s degree from Kinnaird College for Women. She also has to her credit a master’s degree in School Administration and a post graduate certification from the University of Exeter, UK. Her core areas of interest and expertise are educational leadership, teacher training and English language teaching.
Shahryar Beg
Lawyer/ Performer
Shahryar is a trained lawyer by profession and a passionate diverse musical performer.
This performance was a collaboration by Shahryar Beg, Umar Hayat, Hasan Tariq, Hasan Nawaz and Hassan Naeem, presenting an exploration of the _tthaat_ of _Raag Bhairavi_, iconic for its seemingly endless improvisational possibilities, through a mix of *eastern* and *western* instruments.
Zerka Tahir
Social Worker
Following a visit to the villages in South of Punjab and seeing the plight of the underprivileged moved into the social sector, Zerka moved from the corporate sector to being a social mobilizer and educationist. Working with schools and libraries in Canada decided to introduce similar concepts in Pakistan. She specializes in creating Learning and Maker Spaces, Digital Hubs, Library and Media Centers.
She is currently working on developing Libraries and community centers in SOS children Villages in Pakistan and Learning Hubs in Walled City. The Learning Hubs have been designed to provide educational, health, vocational, recreational and counselling facilities to children of unknown parentage, dancing girls, musicians and families living below poverty lines. Health facilities are also being extended to transgenders. This is a participatory development model in collaboration with Akhuwat, Walled City Authority, Punjab AIDS Program and Tevta.
Zymal Umar
Student
Zymal Umar is an 11 year old enthusiastic sixth grader, who initiated an innovative project Zee bags when she was only 9 years old girl.
At the tender age of 6 Zymal was disheartened to see plastic bags lying at every nook and cranny of her beautiful city. Driven by the need to help her city breathe again she came up with an idea to make cost-effective newspaper/environment-friendly bags at home. Currently, she sells these bags to relatives and at certain fairs, and uses the profit to help the orphans living in SOS village.
