In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Philip Yankov is a computer scientist by profession, mathematician by heart, designer by intuition and mentor by soul. He has experience in some of the top IT companies - SAP, Microsoft, VMware. He founded x8academy where the next generation of tech leaders is mentored - an example of what they can do is the FairRefund platform, helping frequent flyers.

Simona Peteva

Simona Peteva is a PhD candidate in Ecology and Ecosystem Conservation at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ". In 2016 she won second place in "Natural sciences" at the "Student of the Year" competition for Sofia University. Author of 6 scientific publications in Balkan and international journals. Member of the prestigious Association for Innovative Development.

Velina Dragiyska

Velina Dragiyska is the Co-Founder of Inspire Bulgaria. She was a Financial Director in a Brussels NGO, striving to have a positive change in the world.
