Khulna University is a hotbed of ideas, innovation and energy. But within the whirlwind of life, TEDxKhulnaUniversity stands out as something unique. Applications to attend are open to the entire university and beyond, and from this talented pool we work carefully to select the 100 applicants who best demonstrate a passion for great ideas, and the ability and conviction to make those ideas into reality. Everyone is welcome, and we look for people from all backgrounds, and with a broad range of interests and abilities.

Conference attendees will get the chance to listen to and to connect up with speakers who’ve done extraordinary things from both within and beyond Bangladesh. But our vision for TEDx goes well beyond the day of the conference itself. Taking our theme – ‘Paradigm Shift’ – to heart, we hope to produce an event that takes the idea of producing credible and meaningful change seriously.

Md. Moniruzzaman

Country Manager, Krones Bangladesh

Md Moniruzzaman has 15 years of corporate experience in the field of Sales & Marketing in Fortune 500 corporations. Currently he is leading the Bangladesh subsidiary of the world's largest beverage bottling-lines manufacturing company, Krones AG. Moniruzzaman holds a BBA degree from Khulna University and a MBA from IBA. Prior to his current role, Moniruzzaman was Head of Marketing and Country ManComm (Management Committee) member of DHL Express & HSBC Commercial Banking in Bangladesh.

Md. Nazrul Islam

Joint Director, Bangladesh Bank

Md Nazrul Islam is now working as a Joint Director at Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of Bangladesh. Since joining as an Assistant Director in 2003, he showed an excellences in working over fourteen years in Risk Management, ICAAP Evaluation, Training & Supervision and Banking Policy. He has completed his graduation & master from Dhaka University and as a part of training and gaining profound experience Mr.Islam, has pursued a higher degree on “Professional Masters in Banking and Finance” in 2015. Md. Nazrul who personally believes in continuous learning and listening, is currently attached to Inspection Department. His present focus is to emphasize on policy innovation and to find out how policy can lead to creativity in banking sector and eventually contribute to the overall growth of the country.

Praveen Wadalkar

Praveen is a Co-founder and CEO of Techizer Tech Solution Pvt. Ltd. (www.techizerindia.com), a highly specialized healthcare IT consulting firm employing around 140 employees and providing strategic IT solutions to more than 100 pharmaceutical companies in Asia. Recently Techizer featured in CIO review 2018 as top 20 most promising mHEALTH company, as they have reached 1 million patients to help them to improve their medicines adherence. He has elaborated more about medicine adherence in his book “Stop Buying Medicines: if you are not going to have it as prescribed” As a business storyteller, he loves to convert real-life experiences and observations into stories. Aside from having delivered 2 TEDx talks he loves to explore life as a solo traveler and mountaineer (A-GRADE HMI certified mountaineer). As a storyteller, he believes whenever we share a story there is always someone in the audience who wanted that story more than oxygen.
