The event will take place on February 21st and will be organized into 3 distinct sessions. 8:45 - 10:30, 11:00 - 12:45, and 1:45 to 3:30.
Forsyth County is a suburban community about an hour north of Atlanta, Georgia, and it is often seen as a conflict of ideologies. It has a storied history of racial tension and isolation, yet at the same time is one of the fastest-growing counties in the state, in one of the fastest-growing areas of the country.
This year at TEDxSFHS, we're exploring the nature of our "bubble" and how that perception is changing, by exploring ideas such as increasing diversity in our county, applying what students learn in school to the wider world, and how students themselves inspire community action. Featuring almost exclusively student speakers, TEDxSFHS will provide an opportunity for your peers to voice their thoughts and ideas about how our county - and the world - will change in the years to come.
