Bhupi Singh

Theatre Artist/ Social Activist and Maker

Bhupi Paul Singh, she is an educator, a theatre artist and maker. Also she has been doing social work for underprivileged children. Being concerned about kids' and teenagers' emotional health, she has worked in this domain quite actively. Being a strong proponent for the idea of discussions instead of books, she has been taking story narration workshops with kids. One of her goals is to create awareness on addiction in children and the critical role of parents and teachers. She always had patience and special love for aged people. Having worked for Doordarshan and in radio as a freelancer for more than 16 years, she lives with a solution-oriented attitude. She finds life to be a big play and being an avid Punjabi Dhol player, she has also learnt light classical music from Bhartiya Kala Kendra and Tabla from Triveni Kala Sangam. She believes in meditation and has done Vipasna and is open to change with time.

Junaid Ahmad

Country Director, World Bank, India

Mr. Ahmad, a Bangladeshi national, was previously the Chief of Staff, Office of the World Bank President. Prior to his work in the President’s Office, Mr. Ahmad was the Senior Director for the Water Global Practice, a position in which he brought a strong track record of management and leadership in the area of service delivery and international partnerships. He has worked as an Economist in Africa and Eastern Europe before joining the Africa Infrastructure Unit. Mr. Ahmad holds a PhD in Applied Economics from Stanford University, an MPA from Harvard University, and a BA in Economics from Brown University. He is also the co-founder of Bangladesh’s first private university, North South University.

My name is Rebecca Conway and I’m a photo editor for Agence France Presse, based in New Delhi and covering South Asia. Alongside this I research and work on independent photography assignments, focusing on minority communities and those affected by conflict. Before moving to India in 2013 to begin working for AFP, I spent six years working as a freelance journalist in Pakistan. I am currently focusing on a long-term project, documenting civilian PTSD and trauma in Indian-administered Kashmir

Rovin Sharma

Indian Drag Queen, Writer Trans Femme Activist, Speaker

Rovin Sharma is a genderqueer activist, writer and a speaker. As a visionary Rovin helps others emrace the full complexity of gender and own their truth. Rovin addresses issues realted to HIV, health and human rights through capacity building, advocacy within the young MSM and TG communities. Rovin holds workshops on Gender and Sexuality at workplaces to make sure that the workplaces are safe and healthy for LGBTIQ+ folks. Currently Rovin is working closely with The lalit Group in educating their employees on Inclusivity and Diversity. Rovin uses singular they pronouns. Rovin is a book named "Genderella" with the Human Library (Delhi Chapter). Rovin also visits universities and colleges to talk to the students on the real concepts of Gender that the mainstream society has always been unaware about. Rovin is also the part of drag revolution that Keshav suri has started in India as 'Roveena Tampon'
