Theme: Epilogue

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ladyfest Shanghai is an independent, grassroots, nonprofit event, centered on celebrating and promoting a positive dialogue on women empowerment and gender equality. The event gathers bands, comedians, photographers, artists, entrepreneurs, food vendors, local DYIers and many more to put on performances and workshops, meanwhile bring together a community of like-minded individuals to share mutual inspirations from all backgrounds, gender, religions, nationality and sexuality. It is founded by JenChilds, AsiaPalmowska, AmberMizerak, JessicaLum and JessicaMartinelli, and continuously supported by many amazing women to drive shaping of this celebration.

Elijah Tai is a senior at Concordia International School. He is originally from New York City and now lives in Shanghai. In his free time, he enjoys working on personal projects integrating technology and human needs. In this TEDx talk, he will open up a dialogue about unequal distribution of technology in society. He will also introduce an Android application he has created for isolated leprosy villages in Yunnan, China.

罗小桃，高级工程师， 2010年西北工业大学硕士毕业，加入上海航天，一直从事空间航天产品的研发。 我国月球车行走系统副主任设计师，负责行走系统总装总测与试验技术；负责完成了我国第一辆火星车原理样机移动系统方案设计； 参与我国载人空间站、空间智能操控技术、空间飞行器研制等多项国家重大型号工作，并承担其中关键项目攻关。 通过不断努力，取得了一系列成绩，获科技进步奖2项，发表论文10篇，申请国家专利二十多项，已授权专利9项。
