Life is a mountain, its peaks poking into a soft shimmering sky. From the moment we are born, we begin to climb. It starts with those squishy pudding-bear crawls, and it ends in our wrinkly-tortoise dawdles if we're lucky. In our climbs, we all take different paths, we touch different peaks every time.
And, at times you just jump . . . you freefall into life.
Great ideas meet audiences where they're at. That's mostly why we felt that talks at TEDxMACE could soak in the theme 'Freefall into Life'. Fellows from all climbs of life, yin and yang, bungee jump towards you. They reach out to hold your hands, take you places you've never been, show you things you've never seen, arouse within what you've never felt before.
After all, ideas are like that--they give you goosebumps, they make you feel the thrills from a leap of faith. Unknowingly, they gently lift you from the abyss of indifference and sneaks a peek at what it's like on the other side.
When you're done listening, it'll be your turn to jump, to rediscover what you've missed all along, to meet up with other climbers, to realize where they come from. And maybe, you could show them the way up.
