Theme: Singularity

The theme of TEDxYouth@HGS is Singularity.
Singularity apart from its basic meaning of being one of a kind, strange, unique, remarkable
or unusual can have various other perceptions as well. In mathematics, Singularity
theory studies spaces that are almost manifolds, but not quite. A string can serve as an
example of a one-dimensional manifold if one neglects its thickness. Kevin Kelly, founder of
Wired Magazine. Singularity is the point at which all the change in the last million years
will be superseded by the change in the next five minutes. Who knew that Singularity could
be related with a black hole, artificial intelligence or infinity as well.

One Man Orchestra

Dost Arora is a very talented self-taught multi-instrumentalist, who performs on more than 35 instruments, by the name Dost Arora One Man Orchestra.He has performed at various national and international platforms in Dubai and Europe. He has been appreciated by Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma, lyricist Prasoon Joshi and popular journalists from BBC, Arnab Goswami and Rajat Sharma.

He is the MD of Nueclear Healthcare Limited which is a Radiology vertical. An infectious motivator, he has succeeded in converting educated as employed, graduates as professionals, individuals as entrepreneurs by his unique way, transformed intimidating problems into opportunities

Gaurvi Singhvi

Open Sea Swimmer

Gaurvi Singhvi has set 2 new open sea swimming records at the age of 14 years. She swam 37 km at one go from the sea link to the gateway of India in a record time. Gaurvi also swam the distance from Governor House to Gateway of India in 3hr 58 mins, becoming the first girl to do so on this particular route. She is a district and state champion and aspires to cross the English Channel in near future.

Ishita Shah

Ishita is a 14-year old Heritager. She is a girl of contrasts. One side she is an aspiring writer who is constantly trying to read human nature in myriad colors but at the same time is an athlete. The paradox continues, as she is a deeply private person but an extremely vocal person when debating.
