TEDxYouth@LBIS is bringing, for the very first time, a TEDx experience to Le Bocage! As a completely student-organised event we aim to to inspire and give a stage to the youth of Le Bocage through our selection of TEDTalks videos, combined with live speakers to spark deep discussion and connection. We look to engage the entirety of the school community from parents to teachers to students with ideas that are a novelty, informative and like a true TEDx talk, entertaining and thought provoking. Join us as we unearth local voices with a distinct Mauritian flavor and give them a platform to share their ideas with the rest of the world!

Dinesh Burrenchobay

Dinesh Burrenchobay is a Mauritian national whose passion for Formula One racing has driven him over the years to look at this sport under a number of different angles. He is currently the Managing Director of the Hospitality division of Currimjee Jeewanjee. He started his career in the Hospitality business working for luxury brand One&Only Resorts. He was Chairman of the Hotel School of Mauritius for a number of years and also a Board Director of the Industrial Vocational Training Board in Mauritius. He holds a Business Studies degree from the City of London Polytechnic, now Guildhall University in the City of London. He has also followed a number of Executive courses in Hospitality with the Cornell University Hotel School and leading business HEC Paris in Strategy and Leadership.
