Anne Beiler

Anne Beiler began twisting pretzel in 1987 and grew a single farmer’s market stand into Auntie Anne’s Inc., the world’s largest hand rolled, soft pretzel franchise. Her professional success, however, was forged after years of darkness, depression, and despair brought on by the death of her nineteen-month-old daughter. Anne’s personal story and entrepreneurial insights have been featured on many television shows including Secret Millionaire, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and Good Morning America. She has been highlighted in numerous publications such as Fortune Magazine, and Inc. Magazine. In 2005, Anne sold Auntie Anne’s and authored the business memoir, Twist of Faith. Today, she shares her inspirational message with audiences around the world and is launching a new organization, Broken Silence, with a mission to help women find their voice and break free from the secrets that keep them stuck in pain, blame and shame.

Everyday for 1-year she would day dream about her business without doubt, fear or judgement. Little did she know she was visualizing and the more she allowed the unfolding, it intensified until it became a full blown reality.

Ashley Black

Ashley Black is an inventor, best-selling author, and a fascia expert. Her success was born from necessity: recovering from two serious health challenges before the age of 30 put her on the path to educate and empower others to restore their health. Changing lives by sharing the knowledge and health systems she created to survive, she says, “I had to make the decision to either let my life be taken from me or to take my health trajectory into my own hands so I could raise my two small children and get my life back.”

Cheryle Jackson

Cheryle Jackson is Senior Vice President of Global Business Development for AAR. Jackson served as AAR’s Vice President of Government Affairs and Corporate Development after joining the company in 2010. Jackson serves as director on the boards of Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU). She also serves on the board of the Congressional Black Caucus Policy Institute and is a member of the Corporate Council on Africa as well as sits on the board for Perspectives Charter Schools Network. Prior to joining AAR, Jackson was appointed the first female president and CEO of the Chicago Urban League. Jackson also served as communications director for the Governor of Illinois and was the first woman and African American in the state’s history to hold that position. She was also a candidate for President Obama’s once‐vacant U.S. Senate seat in 2008.

As a teen mom, Ronne worked hard to change the trajectory of her life and went from being a statistic to a success story. Even though the odds were stacked against her, she was determined not to allow her past circumstances to stop her from achieving her goals. In her TEDx Talk, Ronne discusses 3 areas of shame she experienced as a teen mom. She encourages others to be vulnerable and expose their shame to help heal others. In sharing our shame we will find that our struggles are not that different. The lessons Ronne learned on her journey to overcoming shame gave her the courage to launch several business ventures and help women all over the globe to do the same.

Sue McCloskey

Sue McCloskey was an art and art history student before being swept up in the world of dairy cows upon meeting her husband, Mike. They ran a successful dairy veterinary consulting practice in Southern California along with a 300 cow dairy in Redlands, California. In 1990 they sold the vet practice, moved to New Mexico and became full-time, dairy farmers. In New Mexico, they created Select Milk Producers, now the nation’s 6th largest dairy cooperative, and began thinking about how to make milk more relevant to consumers and how to tell the story of modern agriculture. In 1999, Mike and Sue moved to Northwest Indiana to create one of the largest dairy farms in the country and simultaneously opened Fair Oaks Farms, the country’s largest and most recognized agritourism attraction. Sue has been the Creative Director for Fair Oaks Farms as well as serving as a spokesperson for Fairlife, Select’s dairy-based, health and wellness company.
