Dr. Hilal has led a medical team at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital to successfully plant a valve inside the Aorta and Mitral valves through a catheter. It’s the first time this surgery has ever been performed across the globe.

Mr. Sultan’s most famous invention, The Wudu 1, is an automated robotic device that cleans areas where ablution is performed in mosques and other places of worship – an ideal solution to a problem faced by many Muslim worshippers.
