In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Hubert Smeets

Hubert Smeets (Amsterdam, April 22, 1956) is a Dutch journalist and historian. [1] He is one of the founders of the Knowledge and Analysis Platform Window on Russia and prepares a (political) biography of Dutch politician Hans van Mierlo. Smeets is an employee of NRC Handelsblad, where he started volunteering in 1980. From 2003 to September 2007 he was editor-in-chief of the newspaper magazine De Groene Amsterdammer.

Marc Maurer

Marc Maurer (Eindhoven, 1969) is architect and urban planner. He graduated at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Together with his partner, he manages the interdisciplinary firm.

Martin Unfried

Philippe Piatkiewitz

Philippe Piatkiewitz is a technologist and the founder of Vectioneer, a Design Engineering company specialized in design and development of High-Tech Systems. He achieved a Masters Degree in Systems & Control Engineering and Mechatronics at the Technical University of Delft (TUDelft) and since then he has been working on many groundbreaking projects around the globe.
