TEDxReykjavikSalon is back to bring you the next going beyond experience: this time it's about Social Media! Over the last decade, social media has permeated all aspects of our lives. How have we been transformed by this tool?
We invite you to explore the differences between our online life, on the one hand, and the one outside of it, on the other one, by looking at how we curate the way we account for our experiences. Furthermore, we will be discussing the role of our notion of freedom, of who we are individually, or as part of a community is deeply influenced by social media, our drive to change and the changes themselves start, manifest or come to a result through social media as an open space for debate, for identity creation. All in all, where does today's society stand now in regards to its own humanity as a result of social media extensive use?
