TEDxNHS 2017 - Inspired by People
There are amazing people within our NHS who have inspirational stories and aspirational ideas. We want to bring these people together once a year to share their stories on a national stage so we leave inspired to think differently, dream bigger and design better for the population we serve.
TEDxNHS is an event for those who work in the National Health Service, independently organised under license from TED. The organising team are NHS staff themselves and many trainees. Our aim is to foster and spread great ideas, whilst inspiring new connections and actions in the NHS community.
When: Tuesday 15th August 2017
Where: Wilton's Music Hall, 1 Graces Alley, Whitechapel, London E1 8JB
Within the theme; 'Inspired by People’, we have chosen three topics:
Rising to the challenge
Empowering the mind
Embracing the unknown
These themes are purposefully intended to be interpreted as broadly as possible. We are attracting speakers/performers with a variety of backgrounds, including doctors, nurses, managers, policy makers, innovators and designers. We will also have patients as speakers.
As this is an internal licence from TEDx, we can only promote the event through NHS channels and the content of the event is available via registration on our website, with an NHS.net or NHS.uk email address.
Tickets are now sold out for the event, but if you work in the NHS you can join us by livestream on the day. To sign up for the livestream please visit http://www.tedxnhs.com.
Yours,
