Theme: " Dialogue" ( “对白” in Chinese)

When talking about " dialogue", we often think out the conversation between main characters in a movie. However, in our event, we concentrate more on "the conversation and discussion" between the speakers and audiences. By inviting speakers of different topics and providing enough interaction between speakers and audience, our TEDx team aims to offer participants a chance to serendipity-learning. The process is just like a dialogue: different people exchange words，what's more, we exchange our ideas.

Jing Huang

Jing Huang, an energetic and enthusiastic girl, who wants to experience different kinds of lifestyles without being labeled through the footprints of her life. Although the heart is filled with confidence, it’s hard for her to show the bravery. Longing for freedom, she still feels trapped by the labels. At this time, she would like to free her thoughts and share them with other people. Thus, she studied a SRTP project about "Diversified Lifestyle" and "Tagging" so as to remind every attendee of the value of one's existence and the possibility to constantly develop ourselves by trying more.

Qingwei Kong

Entrepreneur of Nanjing Congmin Culture Media Co.，Ltd；Secretary-General of Nanjing Cube Assosiation

Kong is passionate about Rubik's cube. Except that he started up his own corporation to spread Rubik's cube culture and became the Secretary-General of Rubik's cube Association in Nanjing, he acted as a referee of the project of Rubik's cube of Super Brain (Chinese version). Besides, he has participated in 6 World Cube Association event since 2014 and over 10 regional competitions of Rubik's cube. As for his own skills, he keeps nearly 8 years of experience in exercising Rubik's cube, once ranking Chinese TOP 3 of Pyraminx and comprehensively ranking TOP 100 among Chinese Rubik's cube players. Moreover, he has been devoting to propagating the Rubik's cube culture in the classroom by cooperating with well-received elementary and secondary schools like Nanjing Foreign Language School, etc.

Siyuan He

Siyuan He, who is born-and-bred in Nanjing, has been living in this historic city for over 20 years. With stepping in its profound history and numerous city stories, he has a deep and unusual understanding of Nanjing. Nowadays, he is writing articles for a media blog which is focused on the Cultural Tourism of Nanjing City.

Wanning Chen

Assistant of SEU Art Centre

Chen majors in Computer Science and Engineering but she commits herself to artistic and cultural activities. She has participated in holding Art Performance, 115th Anniversary of SEU, New Year Eve Gala, etc. Having acquired so much experience from backstage, she would love to stand under the limelight and share what she has introspected to all of us.

Zonghui Wang

Administer of Business Incubation Center of ASE（association of student entrepreneurs） in Southeast University

Wang's motto is "Never mind, go ahead and have fun". He has studied a SRTP project about "丧 Culture", which is a particular term describing the hopeless and negative mood from contemporary Chinese teenagers. Chinese teens, who support "丧 Culture", are willing to be diminished and despaired to death without working any more. However, people including the teens of "丧 Culture" feel this kind of culture very interesting and funny. That's why Wang will explore the deep-seated social reasons and solutions to "丧 Culture" with the attendees.
