At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aniqah Rais, a freelance writer, currently observing and working for the education of the underprivileged children of Pakistan and a proud organizer of International Conference, Aalmi Mushaira, All Karachi Declamation and IT Week is also the winner of 25 All Karachi-All Pakistan prizes for Debates and Declamations. Became the Vice President Sir Syed University Literary Forum 2005-2007. Also a presenter at Radio Pakistan for students programmes & organized various students’ competition. She represented SSUET as Lead Student Speaker in the 1st Students Convention held at Islamabad in 2004 & was awarded certificate and Rs 5000/- from General (R) Pervaiz Musharraf, President of Pakistan. She was also awarded the Best Speaker Shield in 2006 by Mr. Shaukat Aziz, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, for the speech on the importance of accountability. Her poem “Child & New Born” was also selected among the 33 poems from all around the world which were recorded for Album-The Sound of Poetry.

Dr. Sanish Sumble, a very young & energetic motivational speaker is the Manager Events & Training and Head of Rehabilitation at Dar ul Sukun. She has also served as a Head Lecturer in Baqai University for Psychiatric, Medical & Surgical Conditions and Community Medicine. She was a Gold Medalist in her Bachelors, did DPT from Ziauddin University in 2013. More than her working standards, she is also working as disability rights activist, social entrepreneur, rehabilitation expert and social scientist.

In 1996, at the age of 20, wrote a script for a telefilm that was approved by the first private channel NTM (network television marketing) run by Shalimar network (STN). During the era of a single private channel, that telefilm was popular among critics and viewers for innovative filming and it marked me as one of the youngest directors. Junoon band’s leading member Salman Ahmed volunteered to lend his first debut album for my telefilm that turned it into a musical telefilm This journey as a producer and a director continued with several telefilms and a serial known as “Dhun Anjani” on PTV network. After acquiring a master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Karachi, resumed direction by making telefilm for PTV’s contest “An Adaptation from International Literature” known as “Musaafir Khana” adapted from “Twenty Minutes from Mrs. Oakentubb.” Stupendous performances by Nadeem Baig and Samina Pirzada earned it a prize. Plus, directed 20 telefilms and serials for HUM TV

Huma Kirmani is an author, theoretician and philosopher. She has been working as an English Language and Literature teacher for the past fifteen years. She received many awards in enhancement programs of training , which act as markers of glorified achievement of her career as an English teacher. She attended training programs by US Consulate General, Karachi and British Council. Her extra-curricular potential is highly commendable in especially Dramatics, as there are many milestones regarding Shakespearean enactments. She also works as a Curriculum designer and execute modern strategies of learning, may organize various training sessions related to teacher’s professional development. She is an an amazing writer as well, her novel ‘Corridors of Transmutation’ is being published by Amazon, CreateSpace in Charleston, USA which is about war and terrorism, about refugees of Afghanistan and tragic dilemma of Syrian refuges all over the world.
