Misree The Band
It's a three piece band of three talented musicians from Pune. 'Jaydeep' (26), a truly talented classical vocalist trained for last 20 years known for his versatile singing, 'Dev' (28), a Pune based music producer known for his soulful melodies and 'Ketan' (24), an actor, performer and a very energetic percussionist trained in tabla for more than 15 years. Together, they cover various popular songs and classics from a variety of genres like Indian film music, indie pop, sufi, folk etc. in their own style along with few of their original compositions. They integrate various tracks in such a way that one cannot catch a point of transition. 'Sweetness is the common thread' is what they believe. Flawlessly they connect various songs continuing along this bridge of sweetness. Boundlessly they perform in their instinctive journey on stage. Organic expression is the key of their band! Musicians: Jaydeep Vaidya: Lead vocalist Devendra Bhome: Keyboard and sequencer Ketan Pawar: Tabla and other percussion
