The college strives to provide the best opportunities and platform to our students and TEDxGGDSD is a paradigm of the same. The event brings together brilliant minds under one roof that fosters learning, inspiration and action. Having hosted two successful ted talks, we are all geared up to spread the spirit of TED mission, “ideas worth spreading” in your benign presence.Continuing on similar lines, TEDxGGDSDCollege, an initiative by SD College, Chandigarh, is a full day event witnessing a diverse group of speakers and an enthusiastic audience. Aligning our event with the TEDx Program, it is essentially designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences.
Our goal is to bring together brilliant minds under one roof in order to address the audience in a way that fosters learning, inspiration and wonder. The event also aims to spread ideas that create conversations that matter. TEDx GGDSD provides a forum to the dignitaries from various fields of technology, arts and aesthetics to share their ideas and experiences, thus promoting innovative approach locally and spreading pragmatic ideas globally. This particular event aims at encompassing various issues and aspects to be contemplated at a holistic level and the college ensures complete adherence to the stipulated terms and conditions of the TED Talk.

Aditya Dev Sharma

Meet our next speaker, Mr. Aditya Dev: a self-taught artist, an emotional poet and an adventurous painter. Bestowed with many prestigious awards, he has shown his works in places such as Washington in the US, AIFACS Art Gallery, annual exhibition of NDMC etc. Now he is all set to color the stage of TEDxGGDSDCollege with his vibrant thought provoking ideas, that will render an array of emotions and delight making his art act as both mirror and lens to depict the unknown, unheard and unseen.

Bhawani Srivastava

Corporate Trainer

Bhawani Srivastava is the proud entrepreneur of SalesEdge, a firm that specialises in improvement and training of the sales performance in various companies. He has been diligently honing his skills and has established his reputation in various sales management and industrial consultancy roles. Bhawani holds an MBA degree from the prestigious IIITt and is full of important life lessons. He is all set to flood the audience of TEDxGGDSDCollege with his mind blowing ideology.

Devanshi Mishra

Dancer

Devanshi Mishra is a performer and choreographer currently working in India. She has trained in Kathak for over 17 years along with Bollywood and Indian folk dances such as Bhangra, Kalbelia, Ghoomar and many more. She had graduated from the University of Iowa majoring in Dance and trained in Modern dance and choreography. While she was attending the University of Iowa she also earned a certificate in Entrepreneurship for Performing Arts.

Dr. Srimathy Kesan

Inspiring the potent minds of the nation through her venture Space Kidz India, cutting through the international platforms in variants like art, science and culture, Dr. Srimathy Kesan is a colossal storehouse of knowledge and ideation par excellence. Having awards like Women Icon 2017, MAYAN Award to her credit, she is a paradigm of hardwork and devotion. With the thought of providing a global arena to the Indian students by inviting NASA to share experiences in space, she stands tall in various global organizations like Euro Space Centre, Yuri Gagarin Space Centre and is all geared up to spread her vision at TEDxGGDSDCollege.

Being an optimist at heart, Janki Vyas believes in spreading the virtue of happiness in vicinity by becoming a Happiness Coach and Healer. Leaving a well paid corporate job and chasing after your heart's true desire is not everyone's cup of tea, and that's what makes Janki special. Having plethora of experience in various other dimensions of work and society, she is all set to spread the word at TEDxGGDSDCollege.

Many can grab the attention but only few win the spotlight. One such personality is Ravi Dubey, a profound actor and a performer of his kind. He has become a household name with his effortless acting, stupendous stage presence and alluring personality. Having done all sorts of reality shows, stage shows etc , he has time and again proved his versatility as a performer. Apart from being an actor, he has a flair for dancing too. Within just 10 years of his acting career, he has an unparalleled benchmark of his performance in shows like Saas Bina Saural and Jamai Raja. A civil engineer by qualification, he has worked in top management with many real estate organizations in Delhi/NCR Region.
