TEDxABVIIITMG is a full-day event, with an audience of about 100. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter. TEDxABVIIITMG intends to celebrate the makers of the future, their ideas and innovations, and at the same time elucidate the challenges facing humanity. We believe that sharing groundbreaking ideas can make a big difference and spark the next great breakthrough. By stepping ahead in the right direction, we will create a sustainable future.

Bharat Sethi is a start-up enthusiast with a lot of interest in building marketplaces, content led platforms, and online communities. He started selling art on Ebay at age 16 while still in school. He founded PosterGully in early 2012 as a side project to continue with his interest in solving the monetization problem for artists & designers. Since then, he has played an integral part in getting over 8 million users to the unique marketplace with an unusually high conversion rate, gross margins & profitability. The company got acquired in Aug'16 by ABEC promoters. PosterGully continues to operate under a new leadership, actively looking to strengthen its brand presence. He moved out of day-to-day operations but continue to advise the PosterGully Board. He took charge as Executive Director and CEO of iDecorama - a technology-enabled platform engineered to take the building, designing and remodeling industry online.

Piyush Mishra

Piyush Mishra started his career in Hindi theatre in Delhi after graduating from National School of Drama, Delhi in 1986. He is acclaimed for his acting in Maqbool (2003) , Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and Pink (2016). As a film lyricist and singer, he is noted for his songs “Arre Ruk Ja Re Bandeh” (Black Friday, 2004), “Aarambh Hai Prachand” (Gulaal, 2009), “Ik Bagal” (Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2, 2012), and “Husna” (MTV Coke Studio, 2012). He is also an acclaimed Dialogue Writer and Poet. His career is of over 3 Decades with major contribution to Movies, Short Films and Literary Societies in India.

He is well versed in Srimad Bhagvatam and revered for ambrosia discourses. H.H. Sri Pundrik Goswami ji Maharaj has initiated many programs to enlighten youth. International Gopal Clubs to promote Krishna consciousness is one of these. He is also accredited with envisaging Radha Vrindesh Ji temple in Jalandhar and various other peeths in other parts of the country. In his endeavor to pay homage to Sri Chaityna Mahaprabhu Ji, he envisioned the temple at Amritsar.

Ten years ago, life almost came to a standstill for Virali Modi after an accident. She was lying on her presumed deathbed on her birthday; she was in a coma, living off a ventilator. Absolutely no one thought she would trick death and come back to life so beautifully. Coming out of coma, she won second place in The Miss Wheelchair India pageant in 2014. She started writing about her life's experiences on Quora and earned 80,000 followers that are getting inspired and motivated by her writing. She is a motivational speaker. She is working to bring awareness about disability and woman rights through her writing.
