In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Eleni Koukkidou

Designer

Eleni Koukkidou is designer and founder of Kuki Design Studio, in the center of Thessaloniki. Born in 1989 and quickly realized that something special has her creativity, with the discriminations in school art competitions, then the perennial preoccupation with the freehand drawing and graffiti later. She studied graphic design and began working as a freelancer. Her skills were immediately known through personal and group exhibitions. This year completes 10 years as a designer of visual communications, having worked with various design studios, large and small businesses, organizations, shops, professionals, event organizers, artists across the country.

Pantelis Zarkos

Engineer

Pantelis Zarkos is engineerl vehicles and discusses especially bicycle projects in the last five years. He is co-founder and creative mind behind the startup Elektronio, which designs and manufactures electric bikes with a revolutionary design. The first proposal of the company is the "Play", an innovative three-wheeled electric assisted bicycle. With Elektronio, slowly takes shape the dream of creating intelligent personal mobility vehicles. Pantelis has excelled in a variety of business competitions and has received praise for his business venture.
