Ms. Lavanya Shanbhogue, is an Award Winning Author, a Feminist Research Scholar and a former employee of a finance firm.
Lavanya Shanbhogue-Arvind’s debut novel ‘The Heavens We Chase’. She has spent over 7 years in financial services, got disillusioned with it and decided to give it all up. She even possesses a Masters in Creative Writing (from the City University of Hong Kong). Her short story, “The Crystal Snuff Box and the Pappadum,” won the Commonwealth Short Story Special Prize (2011) for the theme, “Women as Agents of Change.” It was adapted for radio by the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association and was aired in all the Commonwealth countries.
She is currently working on her second novel, an inter-generational story about three women (a grandmother, mother and daughter) who’re affected by religious fundamentalism. She is a feminist pursuing a Masters in Women’s Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Science.

India's First Fluteboxer
Sudhir R, is the first Indian flute and harmonica Beatboxer popularly known as “Sudhir Bbxr”. A semi-finalist from India’s Got Talent, now hold concerts across India and abroad.
Initially, Sudhir was more into just Beatboxing but realizing his capabilities, he made himself to break the stereotypes of music and got Fluteboxing (an amalgam of flute and beatboxing) on stage. He is currently working on Harmonica Fluteboxing. The efforts he put in to transform his passion to profession, not only made him a successful artist but also made him proud to be the first Indian Fluteboxer to pioneer the art in India and to take it to bigger platforms like India’s Got Talent.

Dr. Sukant Khurana, who is a neuroscientist, working on drug-discovery, alcoholism, Parkinson’s and basics of time computation in brain. He is also a data-scientist entrepreneur, an acclaimed visual artist, and a writer. He was born in India but has spent most of his life in the US, currently in India, he is running a drug-discovery and neuroscience group at Central Drug Research Institute, along with a data science company www.dataisnotjustdata.com.
Dr Sukant’s painting style has been described as new synthesis and his multi-layered art, wherein some works each layer destroys the previous called creative destruction, while where he immediately washes out a layer after painting, leading to gradual accumulation of painting called destructive creation. His art is also mentioned in book “Art of Sukant Khurana” and movie “What’s the fuss about Sukant Khurana’s art”.
