Boyan Dumanov
Archeology
Dr Boyan Dumanov has been Head of Department of Archaeology since 2012.
He studied Archaeology at Sofia University “St. Clement Ohridski”, promoting MA in Medieval Archaeology. In 2003 he completed his PhD under the supervision of the late Prof. Stefka Angelova. Since then he acted as research scholar and honorary reader at Sofia University and the University of Veliko Tyrnovo. In 2003 he held the position of Inspector Educational Activity at the Department of Archaeology of Sofia University.
Boyan Dumanov joined the Department of Archaeology of New Bulgarian University in 2014 as Lecturer of Late Antique and Medieval Archaeology with classes in Byzantine and Bulgarian Archaeology, Migration period, ancient jewelry and metallurgy, medieval warfare, Ethnicity. Besides this within the framework of various programs he read lectures at the universities of Durham, Oxford, Nottingham and the University College of London.
Architect
Arch. Darina Hristova works freelancing, likes paint and travel. She appreciates the Bulgarian nature and culture, loves walking around the mountains, the small, unknown towns and villages. Interested in a healthy and conscious way of life. From there comes the interest in the construction of natural materials and the legacy of traditional building techniques that are hidden in the old houses and temples.

In addition to advertising and communications, he is enthusiastic about photography, travel and ... talking to various audiences. He admits that his students and his two children are the source for the most interesting things he learns for the world we live in.
Mariana Melnishka

Mariana Melnishka is a journalist, translator, lecturer and an avid traveler. Her MA grade in Philology(English and German) is a good starting point for exploring life beyond boundaries and borders, for making friends all over the world and for venturing into other professions and occupations. From a news reporter on political events in the 70ies, she turned to art reviewing in the 80ies, and when democracy dawned upon her country towards the end of the 20th century, she took up PR jobs in some newly established institutions and organizations. They opened up the world for her, and while traveling for some purpose or for leisure, she never misses the opportunity to describe her experience in exotic places or capital cities of culture. Graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Forestry- Sofia, 2005. Worked as general practitioner in private veterinary clinic for 4 years. Since 2009 Chief Orthopedic Surgeon at Central Veterinary Clinic- Sofia.
Member: of ESVOT (European Society of Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology), AOVET Active Member, Society of Radiology genetically influenced skeletal disorders in small animals eV (GRSK)- HD + ED
2012- co- founder and part of the initiative committee of Bulgarian Association of Veterinary Orthpaedy Traumatology (BAVOT). At present vice-chairman in the association.
2015- board member of Veterinary Orthopedic and Neurology Group (VOG). CPD training and recognition: four-week externship in Clinica Mediterraneo- Madrid, Spain. Supervised and trained by Dr. Miguel Ruiz Fundador and Dr. Margot Ruiz, 2007.
Attended BIOMEDTRIX Universal hip workshop- Bristol, UK. Successfully went through the product certification program.
