Chantelle Anderson

Confidence Coach

Chantelle Anderson is a Vanderbilt Alum, former professional athlete and award-winning sales representative turned Confidence Coach. While at Vanderbilt she became the school’s all-time scoring leader, man or woman, and it’s first 2-time Kodak All-American. She was then selected as the 2nd overall pick in the WNBA draft and has been inducted into both the Vanderbilt Athletics and the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. After basketball, Chantelle joined Stryker Medical where she grew her territory from $250K to $3.2M in her first full year on the way to being named the South Central Region Sales Rep of the Year. Despite all the awards, Chantelle is candid about her struggles with insecurity, self-doubt and even self-sabotage. She treats confidence not as a destination, but as a skill that can be built and maintained just like physical fitness.

Eve Moll

Eve Moll is an undergraduate sophomore at Vanderbilt University in the college of Arts and Sciences. Originally from South Florida, Eve has found a second home in Nashville, where she enjoys exploring the food, music, and art scenes. She is an Honors Scholar and recipient of the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship with a variety of interests—academic and extracurricular. As a visual artist, she explores various facets of art, which has led her to her work in ArtLab, a Vanderbilt pilot program exploring the intersection of art and science. As a pre-medical student, Eve plans to continue her studies of science and eventually pursue a medical career. A keen communicator, Eve celebrates the opportunity to share an important message through this platform.

John McLean

Stevenson Professor of Chemisty, Director of the Center for Innovation Technoloy, and Deputy Director of the Institute for Integrative Biosystems Research and Education at Vanderbilt University

John A. McLean is Stevenson Professor of Chemistry, Director of the Center for Innovative Technology, and Deputy Director of the Institute for Integrative Biosystems Research and Education at Vanderbilt University. Prof. McLean completed his PhD at George Washington University in 2001, where he made significant contributions in plasma spectrochemistry in the development of new technologies for the analysis of complex and limited radionuclide and biological samples. He then performed postdoctoral research at Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany and then as a postdoctoral at Texas A&M University with Prof. David H. Russell in biological mass spectrometry. Working with David Russell, he constructed ion mobility-mass spectrometers capable of broad-scale analyses of complex biological samples, termed ‘integrated omics,’ on the basis of both molecular structure and mass.

Jordan Klein

Graduate student pursuing Masters of Science in Journalism specializing in Sports Media

Jordan Klein graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2017, majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Corporate Strategy. During his time at Vanderbilt, he served as a Vice President of Vanderbilt Tour Guides and a student VUceptor. He was a recipient of the Frank K. Houston Public Speaking Award, and his viral high school commencement address was featured in publications such as the Chicago Tribune. When he’s not listening to a podcast or burying himself in a book, you can find Jordan at the gym or pretending to enjoy a green juice afterwards. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Journalism at Northwestern University, specializing in Sports Media.

Nico Doorn

Director of Recovery Services for Alpha 180, America's first sober fraternity

Nico Doorn M.Ed., LCDCI is the Director of Recovery Services for Alpha 180, America’s first sober fraternity, located in Austin, TX. Alpha 180 provides newly sober clients a platform to enter higher education in a supportive environment including residential, clinical, and social programming. Before relocating to Austin, Nico served as an Outreach Coordinator for Cumberland Heights Treatment Center in Nashville, TN. Simultaneously, he was completing a graduate degree in Human Development Studies at Vanderbilt University where he served as the graduate assistant for Vanderbilt Recovery Support. During his involvement, this Collegiate Recovery Program grew in its reach and offerings receiving local and national attention. Nico’s addiction treatment experience spans from young adult specific program formulation to ground-up recovery residence development and leadership. He spent the last 3 years serving on the board of the Tennessee Alliance of Recovery Residences.

Skip "Christopher" Wilson

Creative/Brand Marketing and Strategic Partnerships + Coroporate Marketing at Precor Fitness

Christopher ‘Skip’ Wilson is a Creative/Brand Marketing and Strategic Partnerships professional whose prime directive is to ‘shake things up’. Residing in Los Angeles California, Skip jokes that people say he has the east coast drive with a west coast vibe. As a creative leader, Skip has driven development for celebrated marketing campaigns for global brands including Sony, MTV Networks, Guitar Center, and Ralph Lauren. Currently, Skip leads Corporate Marketing at Precor Fitness where he oversees the teams responsible for brand development, strategic communications, and digital development. Skip earned his Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music in Nashville and completed his MBA at Tulane University in New Orleans. While at Vanderbilt, Skip served as Principle clarinet in the Vanderbilt Orchestra and was a member of the improv comedy troupe Tongue-N-Cheek.

Yip Michaela

Senior at Vanderbilt + photographer

Michaela Yip loves telling stories through photographs, and her work has been published through media outlets such as Yahoo! Sports and Nashville Lifestyles. She embarked on her first solo trip with a camera at eighteen years old. Since then, she has traveled the world to capture stories. Her pictures from the past year include aerial surf shots in Costa Rica, a series of portraits taken in New Mexico’s sand dunes at sunset, and a shot of a secluded pebble beach along the coast of Hvar Island, Croatia. When she’s not behind a camera, Michaela studies as a senior at Vanderbilt and trains for the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon.
