TEECH

Neil Saada, Milo Rignell and Mathias Pastor are the founders of TEECH. It is an educational app which connects students and “Teechers” at top universities. Through this app students are able to speak directly with instructors who can look at specific ways to tackle their academic questions.

Christopher Hogg

Chris will talk about his play (released online) about the events in July 2010, where policeman David Rathband was shot and blinded by Raoul Moat. He explores the role social media played in the events.

Issam Kourbaj

Issam is a Syrian Artist with a background in Fine Arts. Through his work, he raises funds and awareness for aid projects in Syria.

Joanna Brassett

Founder and director of Studio INTO, Joanna is combining the world of creativity, business and social science. At Studio INTO she translates cultural insights into innovation opportunities and business strategies.

Kayo Chingonyi

Kayo is an award winning British poet who has published works as well as presented them at a wide variety of events. He has hosted and curated events across London and the UK.

Marta Welander

Marta is the Founding Director of the Refugee Rights Data Project (RRDP), an organisation which aims to fill data gaps relating to human rights violations and unmet humanitarian standards faced by refugees in Europe.

Monica Alcazar Duarte

Monica has been leading a durational photography project advocating for connection in a divided Cyprus.

Orsola De Castro

She is the founder and director of Fashion Revolution. Fashion Revolutions aims to raise awareness of the true cost of fashion, show the world that change is possible, and celebrate all those involved in creating a more sustainable future.

Scarlett Montanaro

Scarlett is co-founder of Crack+Cider, a company which sells items which are deemed useful for homeless.

William Mills

William is this year’s conference, student speaker. He created a mobile application and improved platform for communication between students and teachers, in order to help students if any of them have any problems or struggles.
