We have organised an inspirational half day of signature TEDxEuston talks and performances that will continue to engage, engerise and refuel your minds and ideas to help bring your own Vision to Reality.

Caleb Femi

Poet
Caleb Femi is a poet, English teacher, film maker, creative director and photographer. He is the first Young People's Laureate for London, and has made it his mission to empower disenfranchised youth through poetry. As a poet, Caleb delivers his pieces with a vivid honesty and a deep lyricism. He has graced major stages in the UK such as the Roundhouse mainstage, Barbican, Rich Mix and the Royal Festival Hall.

Ebele Okobi

Africa Public Policy Director at Facebook
Ebele is the Public Policy Director for Africa at Facebook, a senior director of Advisory Services at Catalyst (an NGO with the mission of advancing women in business) and is in the Management Development Program at Nike’s EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam. She is a former corporate lawyer and former Senior Legal Director for Human Rights at Yahoo.

Eddie Kadi

Comedian
Eddie Kadi was born in the DR Congo in 1983 and moved to the UK at the age of eight. The first black British comedian to headline the O2 Arena, Kadi who started performing in his undergraduate years has performed across Africa with some of the continent's biggest names and at Africa's biggest entertainment awards ceremony AMVCA. Current, relevant, thought provoking yet refreshingly, controversy free, Eddie Kadi has proven himself to be the consummate entertainer. He is gifted with the ability to reach across cultures and break down social stereotypes as he delights his diverse audiences.

Jorn Lyseggen

Founder and CEO of Meltwater Group
Jorn Lyseggen is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, patent holder, seed investor, and the founder and CEO of Meltwater. He founded Meltwater in Norway in 2001, with just $15,000 and bootstrapped it to the global leader in media intelligence with 60 offices across six continents serving 25,000 of the world’s most admired brands and companies. He founded Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) in Ghana in 2008. MEST is a non-profit Pan-African training program, seed fund and incubator for software entrepreneurs, recognized in 2015 by Fast Company’s as one of the 10 Most Innovative Organizations in Africa. Jorn has received numerous accolades for his contributions to the African tech ecosystem. In 2016, Jorn launched Shack15, a data science hub in London with a goal of fostering the next generation of data science startups. In 2016 Jorn received the Lifetime Achievement Award by Europas for his long contributions to the European and international startup community.

Lucy Quist

CEO of Airtel Ghana
Lucy Quist is an international business leader and the CEO of Airtel – one of Ghana’s largest telecommunications companies. She is on the board of several establishments including the- International Board for African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) and Obaatan Pa Women’s Hospital. Quist, an electrical/electronic engineer by training, is a great advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)    

Temie Giwa-Tubosun

Founder of Lifebank
Temie Giwa-Tubosun was named in 2014 by the BBC as one of the 100 Women changing the world. Temie is an alumni of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and founder/CEO of LifeBank - a social enterprise using technology and smart logistics to match blood to patients. Temie’s vision is to save lives across Africa by building smart health systems.
