Alastair Macdonald
Investment Consultant
Alastair J. Macdonald is an international analyst, forecaster, speaker, writer and investment consultant. He is the founder and editor of “The Parallax Report,” a subscription-based market, social and economic forecasting service for individual investors, and institutions.
His specialty is identifying the dangers and opportunities in global markets, as driven by social mood. His analysis accurately predicted; the decline in the US dollar (2004), the bursting of the US housing bubble (2004-2005), the global financial crisis (2007), the peak in commodity prices (2008), the collapse of Lehman Brothers (2007), the bottom in US stocks (Spring 2009), the bull market in the US dollar (2011), the second term of Barack Obama (Aug 2012) and the election of Donald Trump (July 2016). He hosts a weekly podcast called “Alone in the Crowd.”
David Eagle
Math Professor
David Eagle is an early adopter. He holds the world's first degree in Nanotechnology, a Master's awarded by the now defunct Greenwich University. He also has a Master's in Math (Texas A&M-Commerce) and a Bachelor's in Physics. Mr. Eagle grew up an Army brat, and has been to all 50 states and 14 foreign countries. His interests include the Upper Paleolithic, disc golf and bargain hunting. He loves science fiction, the Smothers Brothers and the color purple. His current projects include developing a cybercurrency, building a Murphy bed, and figuring out how to use a whole freezer full of plums. His wife of 15 years, Colleen, is a medical editor and loves the Havana Silk Dog breed.
Mr. Eagle is retired from a career in computer software design, development and analysis. He currently teaches Math at Yavapai College. He is serving as Vice-President of Education of Prescott Toastmasters, and is the testing proctor of the local Mensa group.
Jeffery Kirkendall
Counselor, Caregiver, Author, Educator
Jeffery Kirkendall is a thirty-six-year veteran counselor, caregiver, author, educator, husband, and father in the field of childhood sexual abuse. His focus is Child Rights Advocacy. Jeffery uses storytelling as a voice for child victims of sexual abuse at the intersections of age, race, religion, law, and socio-economics. He is working on his Ph.D. in Sustainability Education at Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona.
Jessica Stickel

Jessica Stickel is a lifelong learner and a forever aspiring possibilitarian. She is passionate about helping people discover their wealth that is within them and their circumstances. Jessica moved to Prescott, AZ from Oshkosh WI. She is currently the Student Success Coach at Prescott High School and founder of Inspired Freedom Coaching where she works with teens, families, and adults to become the best version of themselves. When she isn’t inspiring change she is changing a lot of diapers as she has a 2 month old and a 2 year old. She and her husband are quite the travelers and enjoy taking their family on roadtrips all across the US. She especially loves being by the water so when she isn’t in the desert you will find her at the ocean or in a lake swimming and hiking around it.
Maciek Czyz

We often hear stories of people who have followed their dreams and have accomplished something amazing, yet we rarely hear the stories of how it began. There are many barriers that prevent us from even starting on the path towards accomplishing our goals in life. Maciek Czyz draws from personal experience to discuss some of the obstacles that get in our way, and how we can overcome them. Maciek's source of inspiration is his own journey towards becoming an astronaut and the struggles he's faced to get on the right path.
Paul Bunnell
Physics and Engineering Teacher
Paul Bunnell teaches Physics and Engineering students how to be problem solvers.
Paul is a Physics teacher at Prescott High School and teaches Engineering 101 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He began college studying mechanical engineering at Case Western Reserve University but discovered his passion was in teaching. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Teaching. He believes most questions can and should be answered with data, but that sometimes we need stories to make sense of the data.
