Ahmed Hassan

Student
Ahmed is the craziest, most guiltless person in his class. He just puts effort into other people more than himself and he has no capacity for feeling bad for himself when he fails. When he was younger he was bullied and mocked. Now, he doesn’t even know why he would bother with what bullies want; he is not bullied that much anymore and when he is “bullied” it’s more like friends joking together. Depending on his mood, he can be a living nightmare or a pretty flower. That’s how music comes into play; It calms him down.

Ahmed Zakaria

Student
Ahmed is a ninth grader attending high-school in The International School of Elite Education. Ahmed had a lot of experience when it comes to pushing his duties and tasks until the last minute, which caused him to face a lot of obstacles and problems in his path, which is why he is now spreading awareness about procrastination with his TEDxTalk.

Despite being pushed by his parents into the medical career, he never saw anything ‘magical’ about it, instead choosing to follow his childhood dream of making a difference, changing the world, and being written in history books, which was especially strengthened by the January 25th, 2011 Revolution. In pursuit of that dream, he recently moved to Cairo, seeking a better quality of education, where he was exposed a plethora of various backgrounds, perspectives, and ideologies, which shaped the person he is today. He also enjoys bad puns more than he likes to admit.

Omar Hesham

Academic associate
Omar Hesham a 21-year-old marketing student, he has been through a very unique experience in the past 6 years. He joined university at the age of 16, he first studied biotechnology for a year at the modern sciences and arts university. Omar then decided to switch majors and joined dentistry, still he didn’t feel that this was his place and decided to switch majors a third time and this time he landed in marketing and international business. All of that major switching was due to the fact that he was looking for something that he is passionate about and he didn’t find it in the first 2 majors. Omar is also a comic book enthusiast, video game addict and student development fanatic. At a very young age he really enjoyed the immersive world of video games and comic books, they were his way of escaping when life was too much for him to handle. He is also a very strong believer in student development.

Rawan Abosief

Student
Rawan is a 16 year old girl in an American school in Egypt. She was bullied a lot in school for not being like the others. She liked doing everything her own way. Being a nonconformist was the way she lived, but people around her did not accept her nonconformity. Her life turned upside down as she tried to become like them. Still, her heresy seemed to keep her back. Afterwards, she understood that she has to accept herself for who she is.  She believed she was perfect the way she is, which was what inspired her to talk to people, help them accept themselves, and stop them from turning into porcelain Barbie dolls because that's how people would accept them.
