Farah Bushnaq
High school friends Lyne Ismail & Farah Bushnaq started the non-profit community initiative #EndSmallTalk together in May 2015 as a way to counteract the growth of superficial conversations in our everyday lives. The idea was simple: create a safe space for strangers to come together, have meaningful discussions & connect on a deeper level with over 200 conversation topics provided. Events are held on a monthly basis, free of charge, and open to the general public in Abu Dhabi and Dubai; you can RSVP to these events on their Facebook page End Small Talk. The results presented a collective desire for deep conversation and a genuine appreciation from participants. Through social media and publicity, they were able to inspire EndSmallTalk events in Amman & San Francisco, and hope to keep spreading the importance of deep conversations to the globe.
