Theme: A different Path

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ahmed Basyouni

Ahmed spent most of his life living among different nationalities, thus he finds his passion in people and considers himself a global citizen. He is known to a direct, straightforward person who stand for the rights of others whoever they may be. To him, the everyday life is the greatest teacher of all time. He works on developing his skills and empowering others by providing counselling at personal and marital levels. He established with his friends 'One Quest' a youth development club in his university that aims empower the youth and equip them with essential skills for personal, career, and social success. Ahmed has a TEDx talk entitled "Fearless of Commitment" in which he shares his experience about getting married at the age of 21 because he believed that marriage is best for his life, and encourages others to do what they believe to be best for their lives too. Professionally Ahmed holds a bachelor degree in engineering and currently pursuing his master degree in the same field.
