The first flight of a bird is a true parable event about overcoming fears in life and acts as a great metaphor for most of the situations in the human life. Every journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step. But that single step is the most difficult one to make. The idea is to conquer the fear and venture forth; and one realize that everyone is born with wings.

Jaydeep mandal is the founder and managing director of Aakar Innovations, a social enterprise focused on commercialising grassroots innovations for the people at the bottom of the pyramid and in the process creating livelihood opportunities for the rural people. He has 8 years of experience in rural innovation and microenterprise development. Jaydeep is national and international award winning innovator and an active member of Honeybee Network, NIF, NEN, Ashoka, and TIE.

Panki Sood

Panki is a mountaineer, a managing host at the Great Himalayan National Park, GHNP Treks and Explorations in Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh. He has engaged around 60 locals who take people on treks in the GNHP, a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. He is quite famous among the tourists for his nocturnal escapades to click wildlife.

Rajat Sethi

Rajat Sethi is a Political strategist for BJP. He is an IIT Kharagpur, MIT Sloan and Harvard Kennedy School of Government alumnus. Currently involved in Public policy analysis, advocacy and awareness and serves as Director for Arthashastra Foundation and a team member at India Foundation. He played a key role in designing and strategizing elections in Assam for BJP.

Rajesh K Grover

Professor Rajesh K. Grover is a Padma Shri Awardee, India's 4th highest civilian award, for contribution in field of Medicine. He is practising as Clinical Oncologist for past over 30 years at reputed Medical Institutions of the country - PGIMER, Safdarjang Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College, GTB Hospital & UCMS, DSCI.

Vishal Karungulam

Vishal is a current executive leadership student at Harvard Business School and a technology leader at Microsoft where he defines the Supply Chain strategy across the company’s entire hardware portfolio of products like Xbox, Surface, Band, Phones and Hololens. Vishal’s work in the Supply Chain has won several awards at Microsoft including CEO recognition for best business and enterprise idea at the annual Hackathon. In his spare time, he is constantly assessing the impact of disruptive technologies and blended learning techniques on human productivity.
