Joe Atkinson, the owner and co‐founder of Court Street Productions, has spent his life telling powerful stories.
A lifetime scholar, Dr. James MacLeod has been with the University of Evansville’s History Department since 1999. Among numerous accolades, Dr. MacLeod worked alongside Joe Atkinson on 'Evansville at War,' a two‐part WNIN documentary about Evansville's role in WWII, which will premiered in December 2016.
Basel Al Haj
Born in the Syrian capital, Damascus, Basel and his family were forced to leave their home along with thousands of others. Now, Basel is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Evansville with a goal to continue his medical studies and research.
Brad Garnett
Blending his backgrounds in law enforcement and information technology, Brad Garnett spends his days fighting cyber-crime. A Senior Incident Response Analyst with Cisco Systems, Inc., Brad works with government entities and large corporations in preparedness and tactical response to an increasing number of computer intrusions and cyber threats.
Edith Hardcastle
A love of gardening and native plants fueled Dr. Edith Hardcastle’s journey from Little Rock, Arkansas to the University of Southern Indiana. After 13 years of study, she eagerly shared her passion for botany and ecology at TEDxEvansville 2016.
Erin Gibson
Erin Gibson is an instructor in journalism and serves as the student publications advisor at the University of Southern Indiana. Currently, Erin is producing a documentary called “Two Elephants” about the elephants that lived at Mesker Park Zoo. The film will be released in 2017.

In this role, she directs the GAP program, an innovative experiential education program in which multidisciplinary teams of students work side‐by‐side with leading organizations on real‐world issues that matter.

Roneshia Clark Evans
Roneshia is the Human Relations Coordinator for the Hopkins County Schools district and the owner of two businesses, Confetti and ICING on the CAKE. Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate in counseling education and supervision from the University of the Cumberlands.
Tim Piazza
After pursuing his degree in industrial technology, Tim Piazza pioneered digital prepress and the evolution of desktop publishing. Currently, he is launching Evansville Coffee Company, a craft roaster with weekly deliveries fresh roasted coffee to homes and offices throughout Evansville and the surrounding communities.
Vesper Days
At age 14, Vesper independently released her first song, “Hear Me Out.” She’s currently working on a collection of songs and aspires to explore TV and movie production, combined with a French and international degree.
